Only place where I feel good spending $7 on a cold brew. I love Philz. The people who work here are so nice and warm, the coffee is special, and the breakfast burrito is incredible. Great place to sit and work or take coffee to go. Only downside is there’s only one bathroom which can get backed up every so often.
After the Dupont location closed I’m now just hoping this one stays in business!

I love how they have “featured creations” here. I tried the iced gingersnap and it was amazing. Best coffee in DC!? 🔥 Also the space is nice.

One of the first locations on the east coast. The mint coffee here is no joke. Delicious and so refreshing. Great area to sit down and do some work. They have a great bakery and plenty of drinks to choose from

Philz was a nice place with quite a few very interesting choices for coffee and tea. The standard choices are there, but you can't help but want to try one of their specialty creations. I went with my fiance, and between the two of us we got 4 coffees, and all were delicious. Outside is also a really nice spot to chill and read.

Quality of everything Philz has to offer is top knotch. The people who work here are so kind and enjoyable, and I've never had bad service or a bad cup of coffee here. I look forward to my morning cup when I'm in DC. I wish there was a location in Pittsburgh!

It's great that Philz is open in DC. The mint mojito iced coffee I ordered was similar to the drinks I've ordered in CA. When we visited on a weekend, this location was very packed though with no seating

Philz is a great alternative to many Starbucks that liter DC. The menu isn't as large, and you won't see any frappes, but the coffee here is unique and delicious. The drink I got was the Philtered soul, which had a bitterness similar to a nice dark chocolate bar. The price of the coffee isn't cheap. But the atmosphere and taste certainly make up for it.
Also the bathroom is crazy, there's writing all over the walls. It's one of those places where people are encouraged (I think) to write messages, so that itself is pretty interesting

Long lines but quick.it is the same in the Bay area, and they have gabillion of stores there, that should tell you, how good the coffee is. My daughter had iced mint mojito, she liked it except she thought it had way too much mint. This time i had gingersnap. The butter toast was delish!

Great service. First time in and the guy at the register was so helpful and informative. I ordered the lightest roast expecting it to be watered down but I was pleasantly surprised that it was a full flavor brew. Coffee was exceptional but the sandwiches were just okay.

First time to this coffee place. Was impressed by the wide selection of coffee. For someone that likes to try different roasts this a great place to try. Coffee is brewed to order so it does take a little bit of time. I had the new Manhattan light roast brewed over iced. Was a great cup of coffee.
