I attended a conference here this week. The hotel was very fresh and inviting. I think this was tie overall nicest guest room that I have ever stayed in. It was bright and appealing. The staff was very pleasant and polite. The conference facilities, while in the lower levels, were very accommodating. The set up staff were hard workers and very prompt at setting up and taking down. They were undergoing a renovation while I was here, the finished product will enhance the experience.

Room very modern and comfortable and staff were amazing. Great location. I was here in July and there were few amenities during the renovations. Gym was closed at that time, but access to the Equinox right next door was a great perk. I had a problem with the room during the stay but the way this was handled was exemplary.

I stayed here for the weekend. We were visiting the local museums. I looked at the reviews and called the hotel upon arriving. The directions will take you to the front, but it is only for valet parking. The wonderful concierge showed me where to go to self-parking on K street. It was only around the corner and under the hotel. Self-parking is $36.00 a day or $60 for valet parking. Considering the parking garage is shared, I was fortunate enough to find a park by the elevator. We were assisted with coming in by security who graciously informed us to make sure we secured our belongings and what to watch out for, since we were not from the area. We were checked in with no issue and given information on the surrounding places to eat and order from, if we did not want to leave the hotel to eat. I was already made aware of the renovations at the hotel. We were checked into room 1481. It was the Deluxe Guest Room with two queen beds. The room was wonderful. A plus was no carpet in the room. I traveled with individuals who have allergies, and it was a bonus the hotel does not allow pets unless they are service animals. The absence of a microwave was not a problem for us. We got settled in and was comfortable. We explored for a while but went back to the room. I read the reviews of mice, but hoped they would be wrong. Well, they were not. We had a baby mouse have a marathon in our room. I called the front desk and they apologized and moved us to room 827. There was a convention across the street this past weekend and the hotel was almost full, but they were able to find us a room. We did not see any more mice in our new room, but we kept an eye out just in case. The back elevators were not working due to the renovations, so the front elevators were only operational. I will return to see the new updates.

These beds were so comfortable! Hotel was under construction so a little different. Very small bar. Great breakfast! Quiet part of the city. Quite a few food trucks in the area but an Uber to eating places and bars.

The gym here is superb, opened 2 weeks ago, all machines, weights, peloton, rowers etc are all new. I’d be picking holes to say they need more plate weights and a few extra handle types for the cables (rope and neutral grip would be good). Good dumbbell racks to 75lbs. I’m picking holes to say there’s not enough plates to stack more than 300 lb on the angled leg press so they could do with a few more especially if they have more than one person doing barbell work, but 300lb in squat rack was plenty for me really as I was the only one in there. All in I completed my normal push and pull days at full load with only a couple minor substitutions.

Renaissance never fails me no matter where I go. This particular location is under construction so a bit noisy this time but I'm sure the renovations are going to add to this beautiful property. The EV chargers do not work. I had the call "Blink" to get a refund. So for you EV users please make sure you download the Blink app amd check the location before adding funds to your charge account. Other than that disappointment, everything her was awesome as always. Bathrooms and bed were super clean (black light tested), beds were comfortable and bedding was plush, the bathroom was super clean (always clean again), and hallways were clean and free of debris. Again super AWESOME place.

We had a wonderful experience here! The renovation was not an issue at all. The hotel staff was very communicative about when the water would be off in our rooms during our stay. The renovated rooms were spectacular and we were very comfortable! George at the front desk was so kind and had wonderful restaurant recommendations, and the rest of the team we interacted with were great. The location was superior, both for a conference at the convention center and exploring the sites. I would stay again!

Converting to Westin, Under Construction, week of 21-Aug. Great location, staff was helpful. I had a reservation issue and Yusef was a big help. I believe My room was updated recently, had a Great city view. I will reserve again! Very busy Starbucks on lobby level. Very nice, spacious conference, meeting room areas.

Great location and convenient to three metro stations within a few blocks. Very easy walking distance to most all DC attractions and wonderful restaurants very near by . I ran early in the mornings to and from the Jefferson Memorial and all around the mall and back to hotel within an hour and a half. While the hotel is undergoing renovations, my room was very nicely updated, and the overall experience quiet and bed super comfortable. My only complaint would be that there was almost NO storage space for clothes or luggage in my room. I did have a tiny closet, but the ironing board took up over half the space inside. So you get the picture…. I’d probably stay here again if cost effective.

Reserved rooms well in advance for business trip - called hotel and faxed information. Received confirmation on 4 rooms for conference. After 7 hour drive, arrived to rude clerk telling me I had expired paperwork and he wasn't "trying to argue with me". After an hour of trying to get the paperwork corrected, I confirmed the fax number and he again told me I must have spoken with someone in customer service who had incorrect information. Upon checkout, received double bills for each occupant. I will say the hotel was in walking distance of everything, as well as having wonderfully clean rooms. 2 stars because the cleaning staff was amazing. Parking garage was a bit difficult.
