Happy Okie
Cozy Irish pub with a good selection of beer and Irish whiskey. The bartender was friendly and attentive. The fish and chips were excellent (for $4 more, you can get the kid size which was a perfect portion).

Cool place. Typical bar food, nothing special, but good. All the police stuff and patches are awesome.

We had a good time here, waiting for our train. We just got some drinks, no food.
The atmosphere is quiet, there are a lot of tables, seats at the bar, a good choice of beers and draft cider.
We weren't able to pay using the QR code system, a pity, because it's otherwise convenient.

First time in DC. Got off the train and wandered into Kelly's for a pint and to regroup. I was greeted by Marie behind the bar. Big beautiful smile and a personality to boot! She poured me an ice cold pint and we chatted it up without her missing a beat behind the bar. This place is an A++ Irish dive bar. Thank you!!!

Yum! Food, service and prices are great. It's an older bar with plenty of seating indoors and some seating outdoors too. I tried the chicken tenders, burger, fries and tots. If you like tots, this is your place!! I've also had the fish and chips before and it's good too. Everything comes out fresh and hot!!

The place has no pretence. It is an Irish pub with a great bartender, and corned beef sandwich that is definitely worth trying.
As tourists I definitely felt a locals only vibe, but folks were friendly, and the AC was on so we had a good time.

This bar near Union Station makes for a welcoming place for travelers but it's truly a locals bar at heart. The staff are what make this place great but the beer selection is solid and the food is very good too. Also, you can spend hours looking at all the various law enforcement patches.

This was a fun restaurant the food was decent and the portions were generous. The live music made the atmosphere festive. Our waitress provided us with good customer service.

I have attended this pub multiple times since 2006. The food and service is good. Typical Irish fare. The atmosphere during is legendary if you're a police officer and attend during National Police Week, as Kellys' is the go-to location to hangout.

The kitchen was closed and it was extremely busy but a fun place to be!! Lots of great people!!

Awesomely chill Irish pub. Great vibe. Right next to The Dubliner restaurant, but Kelly's serves some decent bar foods as well. Great selection of Irish whiskeys and Guinness was well-drawn. Not too pricey, which was refreshing for DC.

Come here every time I visit DC. Good drinks, jukebox and good vibes. 10/10 every visit, must try the Buffalo Chicken Sandwich

Now this is a bar! Hard to find a bar these days, especially in DC. I read that the Times is closing, which is why Dad and I went to say our goodbyes. A true DC staple. It'll be missed. On our visit we had a great snack and great drinks, served by a great staff. Thank you.

I came here for their stand-up comedy, which they do regularly on Thursdays. This takes place in their basement, which was dimly lit and underfurnished. The comedians had a small stool next to them as the audience was intimately seated in front of them. It's amateur stand-up, so they weren't the funniest but it was good.
After the show, I asked the bartender upstairs for a local beer and they didn't have any available. As such, I decided to just leave.

I visit the district between 3-5 times a year, and have since 1997. And every time I do, I always make a point of coming to Kelly’s Irish Times. I love the food, and the atmosphere. The staff makes you feel welcome. If your in law Enforcement then it’s a must to go to during police week or anytime of the year for that matter. I hope that they stay for years to come!!!!

Super friendly staff. I never waited more than 15 seconds to get a drink from the bar. Classic Irish pub!! Outstanding

Great little place, good value, excellent service, food is decent but not stellar. Definitely has character, would recommend for a good value night out.

We stopped into Kelly’s after a long day of sight seeing. The beer was cold, the service was friendly and prompt. Our meals were exactly what we expected! Nothing pretentious about Kelly’s, it is what it is...a fun traditional Irish Pub! ☘️

Very rude staff, including the waitress, owner, and others. I went there for St Paddy's day, and will never go again.

We had a blast at this place! So much fun and the staff was super friendly :)

A great place after a long day to stop and enjoy a cold drink and a meal.

Will always be my home bar. Pure personality. You may meet a best friend there!

Great place to eat, drink and be merry! Great place for a group party!!!
Bill Daskalos
Character of an traditional Irish Pub, music ok or better, not too unkempt for a inner city pub. Selection of Whiskies well above the norm. It is definitely Cop/Fire friendly as all Irish Establishments ought to be.
Mick Manlee
A great old wooden floor Irish Bar, that is Blue friendly..and has one of the best bartenders in DC, Phil,

I visit D.C. every year and look forward to enjoying great food and spirits at Kelly's. The waitstaff gets a gold star. My favorite foods are the clam chowder and calamari. Their Irish Coffee is delicious and packs a punch! And their beer selections are great. I love the atmosphere. Get there early if you want to avoid the crowds and wait times that go along with a crowded situation.

Great atmosphere, customer service and accommodating staff!!!

Traditional Irish bar goods sports venue. Met a couple of locals who were very friendly. Had two meals, 1st one was Guinness stew, a little bit disappointed but edible on a Sunday night. 2nd was much better in the afternoon. Cod pieces jumbo prawn with coleslaw n fries. Excellent. Washed down with some of the black stuff. Will be back when in Washington as it's a real friendly pub.

Bartenders are amazing, made me feel at home from the moment I walked in. Thank you guys for being an amazing pub, I will definitely be back.

Friendly Irish bar and always a chance for a conversation. Nice couple there, one from Philly, one from Pittsburgh on the other end if the state down for fireworks. Bought them a drink and was thanked profusely.
