My favorite brunch place in this area by far! I love a simple menu that delivers every time and the make your own scramble/omelette option is perfect ! In addition, they have one of the best deals for bottomless cocktails. We tried the poinsettia (cranberry and champagne) along with the traditional mimosa, and loved both! Also- they have an unlimited fruit bar that comes with every entree. This is my go to for out of town guests and certainly will be back here many many more times .The atmosphere and staff is friendly and super casual! Love!

Fantastic option for a bottomless brunch. Good, creative food. Reasonable priced. The fried pickles were đŸ”¥

Omg I LOVED the French toast. FT has been my favorite breakfast since I was a child, so I'm very picky about it. I felt like ordering one to go for dinner lol. I also enjoyed the fresh fruit buffet which was free with an entree. The only thing that bothered me was that the fruit buffet was near the door so a group of college students walked in and hung out around the table and kept picking the fruit from the buffet with their hands ( without washing their hands, with their coats on, & talking over it ). Super unsanitary, really grossed me out.

Came here for brunch and was not disappointed. The food is pretty good; the make your own omelets are great! The boozy brunch option is one of the best bang for your buck boozy brunches around. They kept bringing us more mimosas without us even asking (and they were STRONG!). They also have a free fruit bar that takes away some of the guilt of drinking on a Sunday morning...

This is one of my favorite under the radar spots in DC. They host a lot of beer events here, make sure to check their events page out every now and then. Their bartender also gets in some great beers that you won't find a lot of other places (and can give you samples).
For brunch, they do unlimited mimosas and then some great breakfast options. Nothing is incredible, but it's all good. They also include a fruit bar which is a nice touch.
For happy hour, go and get everything for beers. Please don't order a mixed drink unless it's a bourbon neat or something along those lines. Tag on the garlic fries, and you're set for a couple hours.
For dinner, get the burger. A delicious burger with fries that is reasonably priced for the area. Overall, enjoy yourself at this tucked away spot.

Dinner in DC and it was delicious. The salmon was great and the pork chop amazing! Friendly waitstaff and courteous. Fun patio seating. For myself not enough dessert options, but the coconut cheesecake was good. Upscale and elegant dinner dishes, but their staff appearance don't match that. Perhaps even a basic polo shirt with restaurant name and logo on it would change the feel. Thanks Gary, great service! Great food Scion!

We recently went to Scion over Easter weekend and we had a great time. The staff went out of their way to accommodate a very large party (21 people with lots of boisterous kids!) in what effectively was a private room. The server Lucas had the patience of a saint, and everyone who worked there was friendly and helpful. The beer menu was phenomenal and there was something for everyone's appetite on the dinner menu, not an easy thing with our crew. Although our size wouldn't have allowed us to sit there, the sidewalk tables looked like a nice place for a date night. Thanks for having us!

The lobster bisque and lobster mac and cheese was amazing. It had actual chunks of lobster, not just threads of lobster or a flavor of it like most places. Best soup I've ever had! My husbands burger was cooked rare just like he asked, the fried pickles was a perfect addition to the burger. Overall, great food and service.

This is an often overlooked local gem. The space is not that interesting except for the fact that they have a quasi outdoor enclosed patio with some outdoor tables, great for all seasons. I've been here several times and the food is quite respectable with several vegetarian friendly offerings. They have a great beer beverage program offering roughly 10 drafts including sample size drafts to allow making a sampler. The desserts are well done and thoroughly enjoyed by our dining companions. The service is friendly. I've been here several times and definitely recommend Scion as a solid place for a good meal and drinks.

Very good food for the price. The salmon was excellent and my kids loved the fries!

My wife and I walked in on a whim this weekend after another nearby restaurant was just not to our tastes and we were quite glad that we did. The staff was friendly and helpful, the food and drink suggestions were great, and the overall cost was a great value for D.C. prices. Even though the place was busy we never felt cramped or rushed and the service was very fast. The food was great- I had the LBJ Mac & Cheese and she had filet medallions and a small salad. Both were prepared well and arrived at proper temps, with no need for additional seasoning. If I ordered them again I could have done with less of the mushroom gravy on the filets and she would have preferred that my mac & cheese had less bacon, but I was happy with my dish and she was pleased with hers. Even the drink prices were reasonable, and the beer selection was awesome. I don't know when we will be back in D.C. to visit again but if we do, Scion will be on the list of stops.
