Exceptional and Exemplary service!! Ask for server Pedro V., he recommended the Grilled Ahi Tuna Tacos. OMG!
It extremely exceeded my expectation! Rarely a server's recommendation paid off dividend!
I went per OpenTable's recommendation of reserving a table and want to celebrate a great productive day at the LOC.
Host was very nice and the manager took the time to greet me after I paid the bill and I gave him great praise about the place.
Highly recommend this place to chow and it best go during Happy Hours if possible or immediately after work.
The Goose Island IPA was on point! But I was not prepared for the frozen margaritas called the "Swirl." Good thing I did not drive into DC today, for I would been ubering it home. Oh weeeeee ! That drank was so gosh darned strong it made me bubbly and happy!
Will be back here again when I get that benchmark passed and as a graduation gift when I finish coding school. TURN UP!

This was our favorite place to eat while in D.C. Everything we ordered was great! The chicken in the taco salad was some of the best I've ever had. We loved everything we got! Staff was great as well.

Our visit was phenomenal!! The food was fresh Texas quality and the service was amazing. Our server Ashley was originally from Houston and even has family back in Louisiana!! She really took care of us well and refilled pour drinks promptly and often. The prices were great too!! I highly recommend this to anyone visiting the Capitol!! We ordered the Ahi Tuna tacos and the steak fajitas.

Houston, our server was fantastic and kind. Food was pretty good! I had the chimichanga and added queso on top. Wow! So good! Id be a regular if i lived in DC.
I used to go here for lunch and occasional Happy Hour when I worked on Capitol Hill. It was my favorite spot. That was over 8 years ago, and I always look forward to returning. Great food, friendly staff. And the best chips and salsa by far! Totally enjoyed my lunch yesterday - chicken enchiladas with rancheros sauce, rice, and a side of guacamole. And the CHIPS and SALSA! And if Mexican food isn’t your thing, they have great hamburgers.
Service was great. The waiter recommended Carne Asada Tacos, amazing! Also enjoyed the cadillac margaritas. Would go back.
This was my second time visiting DC and my second experience with Tortilla Coast. Both times I was more than satisfied. Chips, Salsa and Guacamole are AMAZING, light and full of flavor. The meals have more than enough to fill you up and are delicious. You won’t be disappointed!
This place is always on my list when I'm in town. Great food and great service.
Had dinner tonight with family. Everyone thought their dishes were delicious. I had the Baja fish taco and it was so good! Generous portions on each of our dishes. Love their chips (so light) and salsa (flavorful.

Great chips and salsa! We loved the food and atmosphere. Service was friendly, but maybe slightly understaffed or distracted when we were there. We would definitely recommend to people looking for something to eat while DC sightseeing.

Popular, funky restaurant very close to Capital Hill and Capital South Metro. Very attentive staff and some good menu options for all. Chips and salsa are served as soon as you’re seated. Chips are a little greasy but the food was quite tasty.
I went in a big group, so we went down stairs and had buffet serving. Staff very nice and considerate to my veganism and made me a meal (even though I could eat from the buffet). The special meal took about an hour to cook, but I think there were other groups upstairs too. Still, the meal was quite nice. Beans hadn't been drained of their juice and the beef seemed dry. Well seasoned though

Came here during happy hour after a long legislative section. Taking healthcare from poor people and defending sexual abusive coworkers is gratifying but tiresome.
Prices here are fine, good selection of food, the staff is pretty nice and you can't beat the location. Overall a nice experience.
Tacos were good as well as the queso appetizer. my only issue was when we ordered the queso the server brought out some chips and salsa so I thought oh well he just must bring the salsa when you get queso. Nope got charged for the queso and then also for chips and salsa.
By far one of my most favorite places to grab a bite when your down close to the Capital South and library of Congress. Not only is it really cost effective but their food is always superb for the price. Its a tried and true place to be sure.
Torilla Coast is a perfect spot for lunch on the Hill. It's located one block from the Capitol buildings, is reasonably priced, has spacious seating, and friendly staff. Not to mention my chicken enchiladas were incredible.

Great Mexican food right outside of the national mall. Ordered tacos and they were out in about 2 minutes. Staff was helpful and restrooms were clean.
Had the Arturo’s special enchiladas. They were phenomenal! Great atmosphere
Camped out at the bar with some great friends to watch the Saints/Rams game. Bartender did a great job of keeping us in drinks and food. It was good.
Righteous Taco Tuesday aficionados. The tequila runs like water and the food is bar-none to anything else in the neighborhood. Popular with certain political types and those craving mini tacos that aren't that small.

One of the best Chimichangas I have eat in a very long time! Very attentive staff. Prices are as expected in a metro area.
Tortilla Coast was great. I gave them five stars because the customer service was awesome. My waiter Jose Vasquez was the best he made sure we were enjoying ourselves. The food was 🔥 torch . I had the Coast Tacos and they were perfection. Their chef Jose Gonzalez made sure everything was just right and I will recommend you visit.
Incredible experience last night. We had a table of 8, no reservation and Edwin was our server. He took great care of us and the food/margs were amazing. Been coming here for years but his service was truly outstanding and the food/drinks seem to have gotten even better across last few months.
