There are several nearby but this ones on M st George town. It's a Coffee pastry shop and much more. It's George town so there is parking but pay attention don't go over meter. The Coffee shop is both to stay or To go. The establishment is deeper than you expect with attractive walls and raw wood furniture and wooden floor. Light floods in from a sizable patio. It's waitress service and has a breakfast and lunch menu. It has a slight French slant but does all the right bacon eggs toasts and toasted ham and cheese. There are soups and salads. Prices reasonable. Soups can be big or small. Coffee in a French like bowel. It's intimate friendly nice service. A convient well appointed bathroom with baby changing table. Some people hand around with typical computers or buisness meetings as well as couples shopping or out for lunch. I was tempted by avocado toasts with optional egg and salmon to tuna sandwiches. It gives you the calories for each choice. They offer two soups of the day and they have good bread. We stayed 4 hours and were not hurried. I enjoyed it overall. There is a bike rack outside and in 10mins I was in DuPont Circle.

Tight seating - food is awesome. Coffee cups with no handle? Great coffee, smoking hot. A handle for the mug would be a great add.

This place is fantastic. Although most LPQs in the city have consistently good food, the service here -- and the attentiveness of the manager (Jose?) -- were the best I've seen. It's also very spacious, clean, and quiet. I just moved to the neighborhood and plan to be back often.

This place is specious, beautiful and full at cute little edible knick knacks! I would totally recommend this as a date adventure with that special someone or even to impress a family member. Their food is delicious and beautiful and most importantly pocket friendly.

The atmosphere of this place is really cool. Very unique decor and menu. My friend who goes to Georgetown University brought my girlfriend and I here for brunch and it was great food. A little pricey to be honest but that’s the nature of the city/DC. The food, service, and restaurant itself were all good quality, justifying the price of the dishes. If I’m ever in the area again, I’ll remember that French named restaurant was good!

Good tea and pastries. The jams and hazelnut spread were so good! The bread was cold, which we were not expecting, and the servers were not that attentive or helpful. It took longer than we expected to get our food, especially considering we only ordered pastries, bread, and drinks.
