The taste of the food is authentic. Have been to Bangkok a few times & the taste is on point. Loved that the spicy level is actually spicy. The Tom yum & the mango sticky rice was my favorites.
All the flavors and things you want out of Thai food. Any spring roll you order will delight with a wonderful minty sauce. The Larde salad is worth it. So many great dishes to chose from beside pad Thai but if you happen to chose it -get ready for a nice sweet but light surprise.
Lovely spot for a family meal; plenty of veg options for the vegetarians and terrific service. Don’t pass up the catch of the day - we had it grilled and it was delicious!
The shrimp dumplings and Yum were other favorites!
Food is delicious, best Thai food I’ve had. Been coming to eat here for a year now and attempted to get through the menu but everything is so delicious I keep going back to my favorites. Must try the mango sticky rice for dessert!
Liked their ambience. Simply elegant.
I stopped eating chicken satay at thai places as they are dry and lack flavor. But Satay here is amazing, soft and flavorful.
Tom yum soup was great and their couple of their fried rice. Very tasty.
Great Thai food, but for the price it is definitely not the best. I’ve been to other Thai places that are both cheaper and better. Portions are also quite small.
I tried the Shrimp Pad See Ew and the Ped Krob Kra Prow. Both were decently flavorful and tasty. Would recommend trying both while you are here.
The staff are friendly and the restaurant is not too busy during the lunch hour.
My husband and I decided to try this restaurant during our stay in DC. We made reservations online and we were seated on time. I ordered the pad khing and my husband had Khao soi. We both enjoyed our dishes. Probably the best flavor of Khao soi we've had since we visited Thailand. It is pretty spicy but super flavorful. Service was friendly and the restaurant was clean. A good choice for a Thai craving
Thoroughly enjoyed dinner at Soi 38. The restaurant is busy with an Eclectic clientele and has a good vibe. The menu is populated with interesting options as well as a few of the traditional Thai dishes. Service was efficient and timely. The food was thoughtfully prepared and delicious. Definitely recommend the baked shrimp. Will be back and also will try it's sister restaurant which provides a traditional Thai menu.
We loved our dishes and drinks - ordered the pineapple fried rice, pad Thai with shrimp, and grilled pork neck as an appetizer, and finished off with a banana dessert. Pad Thai using thinner noodles which were wonderfully chewy and to our liking. The iced tea was refreshing and not too sweet, with a great balance between tea flavor and sweetness. The seating was comfortable. Dim atmosphere added relaxing vibe to the place. We were happy to have discovered this gem!
Enticed by the glowing reviews, my wife and I were compelled to experience this establishment. Our order comprised tofu pad thai, moo yang Kati sod, Thai iced tea, and som tum sling. The tofu pad thai struck a delightful balance between sweetness and savory flavors. The moo yang kati sod, a presentation of pork belly on skewers, was masterfully cooked, avoiding the overcooking that's often encountered elsewhere. Its accompanying dipping sauce added a lovely touch. The som tum sling reminded me of a spicy lemonade. The staff's attentive service included drink refills and wonderful suggestions. The ambiance and decor were appealing. In hindsight, I regret not ordering more dishes and I'm hopeful for another visit before departing.
