I found this place while looking up restaurants with good reviews. I dined in and sat upstairs by the window, absolutely loved the setting and views. The food was excellent as well, I had the special of the day (which I don’t remember the name of). Fantastic meal. The staff was also very kind to me, but I can definitely see how heavy traffic can put a strain on the employees. Overall, highly recommend. I will be going back before my trip ends.
Charming spot in DuPont. You order at the counter and they bring your food out to you. The combination platter was good and a nice sampling of meat and dolma with a salad. They serve the beer in chilled glasses which was a nice touch. Really nice outside seating.
Unpretentious authentic Greek legend and local favorite Zorba’s has been serving deliciously flavored Greek favorites to DuPont residents since before the many incarnations of Washington DC. Zorba’s is a testament to staying grounded and true to oneself by serving consistently delicious foods no matter what the situation is. They take the time to make it right, and boy do they! As a first timer to Zorba’s tho I’ve been a DC resident for almost a quarter century, I was struck by its time earned appearance that spoke to the proud heritage reminiscent of the Greek scenery harking back to summer days basking under the sun sipping on the finest wines, dining on the freshest vegetables and grilled meats. I recall the days I spent in Santorini where a simple salad w olives, or falafel pita w hummus would blow my mind for how fresh and tasteful it was. That’s what you’ll get at Zorba’s.
Delicious Greek food at fair prices. Pleasant interior, great location. Enjoyed a combination plate and taste of a light Moussaka for lunch. Seating upstairs is charming
Feels like an authentic Greek restaurant experience with great service and quality. Line gets very long due to the amount of people taking food to go, however it moves fast and there's plenty of seating both inside (2 floors) and outside. Great convenient location and fair price for the food.

Loved loved this place was two blocks from our hotel very convenient and right next to Dupont Circle Metro. The outside facade is very beautiful, looks tiny but has plenty of space inside the second floor. Food is delicious their Tirópitta is amazing. We took a Feta pizza from here for late night snack it was the best in town loved it. Excellent service the crew here are very nice people.
Really great local Greek restaurant that is a favorite in the DuPont Circle neighborhood. When you want a reasonably priced, authentic Greek meal, this is the place for you!
The customers are required to go to the service counter on the lower level to order (beer and wine available!). Zorba's then gives you a table placard with your order number, you select your own table, and a server brings your food and drink order to you by locating your table number. Quick and easy.
Zorba's has seating for dining on 3 levels (inside and outside on the street level; another indoor area a few steps below the street level (but above the kitchen and service counter); and yet another seating area upstairs.
Zorbas is an ol' favorite. Always consistent and always good reliable service and high quality Greek food.
