Top five meals ever! Great service. The veal was to die for. Get the foie gras. The bread beneath is the jewel. I will be back.
Absolutely incredible meal! Came here with my brother and great aunt and uncle and I was really blown away. I had the privilege of being in Paris this past summer and when I tell you the quality of this meal met the quality of what I ate in Paris, I was shocked. So hard to find in the US! The veal sweetbreads with the mushrooms were incredible. I had the skate wing which was perfectly cooked, and such a nice light option for lunch. My brother ordered the cassoulet which was outstanding and we shared. Can’t recommend enough and already want to bring my mom here on our next visit to DC!
Beef tartare was excellent. Fries that came with tartare was also crisp and to the point. Also loved their escargots were well seasoned with tomato sauce. Soup was enough for two people to share.
A friend and I ate outdoors on a Saturday evening. We had duck breast and sweetbreads with mushrooms. Both were excellent. The order of yellow and green bean salad with shallots and vinaigrette was equally delicious. We split an order of canalees for dessert. That came with creme anglaise. The French Mule cocktail made with Domaine Canton ginger liqueur set the experience on a good start. This is a restaurant that prepares French cuisine adroitly. When one spends over $100 a person for a meal these days, it is good to know there are restaurants that meet and exceed expectations. Too many offer mediocre results. I will be back and look forward to doing so.
Excellent service. Excellent food. Aesthetically pleasing. Prices are as expected. I had a glass of Syrah, Gazpacho, Merguez Grillees, and a glass of Jurancon for dessert because I couldn't eat another bite. I will be back.
A fabulous lunch and experience today! Food and wine, the best! We had the trout and risotto with shrimp and house wine with the apricot dessert!

Interior design as a real French dining experience, the duck is marvelous and the service is friendly and efficient
I really recommend their duck breast dish, and the mashed potato that it comes with is also super creamy and delicious. Their frites are also very good.
Wonderful bistro experience at La Piquette, felt like I was in Le Marais district while being in Cleveland Park DC. Delicious bistro fare, all the favorites and the bread, OMG - the best warm crunchy baguette you’ll find. Service was attentive, cozy absence, splendid wine list - affordable and quite good house selection - got to go back!
We picked outdoor seating on a cold and windy April Sunday... That was our mistake, I guess. We eventually switched the tables and the heater effect was better there. The place is not too big inside and feels noisy when fully filled up.
The food is good although pricey. Eggs Benedict is $17. Excellent brunch choices for main dishes and cocktails.
Apple tart dessert is really good.
I've had dinner there more than ten times and not a single dish was anything less than excellent. Staff are very friendly and atmosphere is great. Price is a bit high, but actually a good deal overall especially for dc
