We came here recently and I just want to say that the food was great. I was pleasantly surprised and will be coming back to the area next weekend and look forward to enjoying another meal there. The only thing that I saw and thought was crazy is that the bartender was there alone and doing it all. She was great but I would hope ya'll get more staff.

Went to dinner last night and what an incredible change! The menu has changed, the food was incredible, the new girl working was by herself and had a full restaurant and still managed to great service and kept our drinks coming. It was the best experience we’ve EVER had at waves. Hoping this continues as Waldport needs a place like this and the views are great!! The only suggestion would be to get a breakfast going we live in Bayshore and would love a good weekend breakfast place..and get more staff but they killed it last night and we will spread the word about the new great changes!

Where to start? First of all, the food was excellent. They do not have the most expansive menu, but what they do, they do perfectly. Everything was delicious. We have five people in our family and all of us have allergies or other food issues, and while it took a lot of back and forth, the server was super detail oriented and everyone got food they could eat. Gluten free, dairy free, citrate free, no peanuts in the kitchen, milk fine but no cheese, egg free, soy free... Not everyone has every issue, but they have absolutely fantastic gluten free clam chowder, did a perfect, simple Chateaubriand, hubby loved his seafood pasta, kiddo ate his whole grilled cheese. My special needs child was treated well despite a few outbursts, just an incredibly welcoming place. My milk/soy/gluten/egg/peanut allergic kid had a fantastic steak salad-literally like 6-8 oz steak, ample portion. Super impressive.

The restaurant is attached to a hotel so they can get busy with room service around the evening. Despite the longer wait time due to this, their service is very accommodating and friendly. Their food is a good value for the price. The seafood pasta is highlight recommended as the sauce is very rich and yummy.

I was craving some traditional seafood one night and decided to stop in and check this place out. I was promptly met with a friendly smile by Scott who was both the host and waiter. Despite me being alone he went out of his way to get me a nice table setup looking out at the bay. After getting me comfortable he was happy to tell me the specials and what a few of the favorites were. Like I said I wanted traditional so I went with a cup of clam chowder and an order of fish & chips. The chowder was nice and creamy with a good flavor and the fish and chips were excellent. The atmosphere was clean and inviting and overall the experience was a good one. If you’re looking for nice dining experience give them a chance!!!
