Hilltop Cafe & Bistro

As you know, I don’t get too many five star reviews. It was clean, trendy, great food fast service second time there people already recognized me and made me feel at home. The food was amazing. The coffee was hot. The only downfall is the parking two of the times I actually had to park across the street on the side of the road and walk across but that tells you that the food isn’t sitting there long. It’s a good turnover you can see everything is kept very Clean and a lot of things to make you feel right at home. I plan on going back every year.

4.5 stars for the good quality food. 👍 Clam Chowder is very good, lots of clams in it, don’t have flour in it at all. 🍣 Grilled salmon, wonderful, can taste the wood burned flavor, risotto is delicious! 🍔 The burger is also good, good home made tasty burger. 👎🦀 Crab cake is just ok, maybe more crab will be better. 🍮 Chocolate Torte is worth to try for dessert. Nice service, cozy environment, outdoor seating with ocean view.

We’ve driven by many times and decided to pop in. As it appears from the front: very clean and open. Friendly staff. Creative and tasty entrees. We had the Ahi Tuna Burger and French Dip. Tuna burger had lots of flavor. Well seared and the bacon was perfect. French dip was real roast, not skimpy deli slices. Nice pepper on the crust. A bit salty. Potato salad was above a average (potatoes could use a splash of vinegar) and slaw was good, but appeared a bit dark. Interesting local copper artwork that matches the interior design. Great spot for locals and tourists. Highly recommend!

Nice little spot with great staff and nice food. Wish there was a "hilltop" view but it was too cold for sitting outside. Inside is nicely, naturally decorated, especially the tables made from beautiful lumber. Was a bit surprised by the small size on the inside, so take care in choosing a time to visit. The staff however work very hard to keep things moving tho, well done!
