I am really surprised about this Pearl's Korean BBQ located in the Waipahu Shopping Mall next to Longs. I have been to other Pearl's BBQ (Kapolei) I have to say this one surprised me. The place was very very clean..I have been to the one in Kapolei, and their restaurant was dusty and the floor was not so clean...This one in Waipahu was wiped down. The walls and counters were clean.
The prices are still HIGH, but it's the price you pay for Korean Bbq. The prices are high due to rising costs of containers, staff shortages, and price of meats, fish and etc.. The food is still packed in your plate, and it's served hot, and fresh.
I ordered the Fish Jun and the Meat Jun/Fish Jun combo plate..Here you choose your 4 sides and it comes with 2 scoops of rice 🍚 plus your entree. You can share the plate 🍽️ because the food is really piled up.
I really liked this Pearl's Korean BBQ place because, It was a clean restaurant, two the food looked really good, and the server was really nice. Price per plate is between $12-18 reasonable and you get your money 💰💰 worth.

The portions are huge and the food tastes great. My favorites are the Kalbi short ribs and the Meat Jun. Always open parking in the evening.

Really surprised by this place! Came here for lunch between jobs with the crew. Picked up the meat Jun regular plate. That plate had like 4 lbs of food on it. It was amazing! Took some home for later and had to pick up a coffee to keep me from sleeping to the next job! Haha!
