Food was fresh and hot. Store is not open so you need to stand outside and wait in line. You don't know if they are preparing your food or if they even know you are there. Other than that we will continue to order from them. Food is worth it.

I've been going here for years. My favorite Chinese restaurant in Waco. From the fried cheese won ton, to the egg foo Yung, the lo mein. Literally everything I've eaten there has been great. Worth the wait. Call it in because all they take are call ins. Take it to the park have a picnic, go home and veg out. The one entree combo is pleanty of food, but whatever you order usually comes stuffed to the brim. Real good sweet ice tea. Fast, hot and really worth it

I usually don’t get Chinese food even though i really enjoy it because i always get a bad stomach ache from other places . I have never have never ever had a bad experience for the past two years . Just amazing.

Lack of flavor is the main reason for a 2 Star. Service was excellent. But not so much the food. Ordered, shrimp fried rice with a lobster sauce, shrimp lo Main & chicken & broccoli. Girlfriend gives chicken and broccoli a 3 stars. Shrimp friend rice with a lobster sauce came with plenty of imitation snow crab & 0 lobster flavor... don’t call it what it’s not. Please. Shrimp tasted old or like it has been sitting for a couple days in the fridge, that super fishy taste. I usually love shrimp. I honestly won’t be back. Not sure about Waco’s other selection, but if this is the best in town, the other places I can’t even imagine. I guess college kids love this food, but I don’t.

The staff and service is so incredibly great! My family had a last minute gathering and we decided, on the spot, to order Happy Wok. There were no complaints about a last minute and huge order. They were also very patient and made certain to repeat the entire order very slowly to make sure everything was correct. We were told an order that big would take approximately an hour or so, which is completely understandable, yet it was ready in 45 minutes and was exactly what we had ordered! To top it all off the food was extremely delicious and more than fair on the pricing! Definitely a 10 in our book! 😊🎉🏆🥇

I always order the beef & broccoli L combo for myself. It is enough servings for your portion that I always share my food with my little son. He loves the chicken wings and the fresh French fries. This restaurant has been apart of my neighborhood for a long time now.

Great place to eat. Portions are large and food is always made to order. Be sure to call ahead and order they do not take orders at the store, friendly family owned staff. Really good lo mein.

The food was cooked up hot and fresh. We ate in our vehicle on parking lot. Most delicious General Tso's chicken we have ever eaten. Excellent!! We'll definitely come back. Thank you Happy Wok for being super cautious during this pandemic. Much appreciated.
