My Number One Food. No one in Tidewater makes better Curry Chicken than Ming's. I have ordered all over the world and Ming's is the best............a word to everyone, if you don't like it hot, don't order it, me on the other hand Loves Hot Curry Chicken and it is hot and is better than any in India....................
Looks like a dive but the food is quite good. Portion sizes are great for the price. The mei fun is delicious but I'm not a fan of their hot and sour soup.
Great prices, amazing portions, and good food. Can't go wrong. They are cash only so don't try credit or debit. My go-to place for neighborhood Chinese food.
I had Fried hot smoked sausages Served with steamed rice and dinner roll (gravy). It was delicious. No complaints at all. Back in the 70’s - early 90’s these meals came with rolls really don’t see that much anymore. I totally recommend this place.
First time ordering from here and food came quickly and was SO DELICIOUS. I have never written a review for a restaurant before but I had to for this restaurant. Shrimp egg rolls were very large and sooo yummy, with full shrimps inside! Wanton soup was jam-packed with wantons and tasted so fresh! Prices were very reasonable as well. Will definitely be ordering from here again!
first of all, the food is incredible. my favorite is the egg foo young.
secondly, the service is top-notch.
lastly, the atmosphere is amazing (although they are not open for dine-in)
there are a bunch of children's drawings all over the walls and it is just incredibly cute.

The Sichuan beef was great flavor, as was the general taos chicken. I would never have know it was there if not for my usual Chinese spot closed. Definitely would order from there again. The sauces are a little on the sweet side, but I like sweet heat.
The food is always good. The portions are generous. They are quick in preparing our order. I have been going to Ming's since I was a child. They are a family run, local restaurant that is a hidden gem and staple of the neighborhood.
The owner daughter is rude, when asking the phone. Don't said the name of the place. She say what do you want. No polite at all. Very rude.
Excellent!! Always fresh, nice sized portions and extremely polite staff.
To the deplorable folks ordering on a Saturday evening when it was busy, try being a little patient and courteous to the people working very hard to prepare your order and ensure quality. The food is always great and prepared to order, so when it's busy, expect your order to take a little longer.
Thanks so much to the owners and staff!!! Our favorites are the Spicy Chicken dinner (love the fresh vegetables and spicy sauce), General Taos Chicken, Sweet & Sour Pork and Fried Rice.
Awesome lunch specials!!! Lots of flavor! Very nice staff! Definitely recommended & always coming back!
really good Chinese restaurant! :) Adding photos of the menu for people who whant to order for a pick-up :) It was me earlier today but I didn't know what to order over the phone :)
This place is absolutely amazing. The staff are super nice and the food is always tasty and a fair amount of food. Everything that they make tastes so good. I really love the orange and generals chicken. Rice is super sticky and tasty. Ive been eating here for decades. Im glad i rediscovered this place. And ive never had an issue in this shopping center. I go to the red box, the bar, the tailors, the bbq place and mings and have never had an issue. Some folks like to hang out by the mini mart during the day and the bar crowd can be rowdy but ive nevr been scared. Plus they recently repaved the lot which is great.
