Probably the best place in Virginia beach City for mexican food with beautiful ambience around.
Had difficulty to convince the waiter to give me vegetarian food without any meat but the taste was amazing
Their service was mind blowing and they were very cooperative to my needs since I'm a vegetarian.

We went for lunch, and the food was so delicious. Our server was very fast with our orders, and made me some amazing table side guacamole. I think my husband have found our new favorite Mexican place!!
Never disappoints. The people also own El Tapatio. Food is fast and fresh, good but not great and enough to fill you up. Staff are amazingly fast and efficient. Drink specials are ginormous and I suggest a dd if you do happy hour. This is the locals favorite for mexi food and gets packed starting about 6pm. Should please your Mexican food craving.
Impressed!!!. We visited Virginia Beach this past week and enjoyed a great meal at Senor Fox Bar & Grill. The waitstaff made us feel right at home and the food was phenominal!!! I love the guacamole...so much that I am trying to perfect it myself. I guess I'm gonna have to come back to V.B. soon. Thanks for a great meal!!!
AWESOME! Their margaritas are STRONG ! The food was good as always and our servers were on top of everything and not to mention had us laughing nonstop haha we WILL be back :)
Went there on Fri. in Oct. and the place was packed. Got the Cancun dinner and thought it was very good. The service seems to rush you but that's what they know. You have to slow them down. Great quick reasonable Mexican food for Va. Beach.

Best damn margaritas anywhere. My philosophy is the more see-through the margarita, the better...and that's exactly what they are. Food is awesome, service is awesome and it is a great place to hang out and have a good ol' time.

Our favorite!. We love this place! It's close to home, the Margaritas are awesome, and the food specials are great!
Fox and El Tapatio have been our favorites since we moved to the Red Mill area about 8 years ago. Service is always fast and the food isn't the typical burrito and combination platter that is overly prevalent on every other "Mexican" restaurant in the area.
Although we do miss Chewie and Valentino we still like the crew and would highly recommend theses places to anyone coming to the area. Be sure to ask for the Valentino shots as "dessert"!
We visit Mexican restaurants everywhere we go, and Senor Fox is one of THE best! The food is amazing, fresh, and filling, and the service is unreal. These guys are on it! Don’t have to ask for anything! The guacamole is perfect! Just the right amount of everything in it…even the sweet tea is good! Zero negatives. Love, love, love this place!
P.S. The view is a bonus! Wow!
The servers are definitely attentive and friendly, food was good. The drinks are definitely worth it. Plenty of parking, we went during the week midday so it wasn't busy. Worth trying if you love a good margarita.
Food is good and service is great! I got the taco bowl with chicken, and the fresh guacamole which was amazing. Don't sleep on the guacamole lol. I've also had the aqua tacos with chicken which is a great if you're trying to cut calories. The drinks are huge although a bit pricey. I had a Paloma which was cool and refreshing. This place gets very busy at dinner so go late or arrive early.
Went with a large group. Service was fast, and food was delicious. Unfortunately it rained so we could not enjoy the patio . I bet on a nice night sitting outside with a margarita in hand would be the best way to end the day.
I had the taco salad, husband had enchiladas, my daughter had tacos and my son had chicken quesadilla. We had 3 severs almost one after another ask to refill our drinks that weren't even half gone and the drinks were big, also they were 3 dollars each. They bought another thing of chips before we got down the first basket and didn't even ask if we even wanted another one. You could even sit outside and view the lake which was nice. After all that the price was just over 80 dollars from what my husband said which I couldn't believe.
Not my favorite food wise, but the margaritas are amazing!!! The outdoor seating is beautiful since you are right on the water and the staff is exceptional.
We always like this place. It was a little late(9), they closed at 10. But we got 3 thing. Fajitas were good. But service was a little lackluster. Still best Mexican food around though. They are actually adding on to the deck, to be over the water I believe. That will be really cool! They just added soooo much seating outside! It’s amazing!!
First time eating here, I can’t even explain how impressed I am! The service was top notch, absolutely amazing very attentive and professional. The food was delicious! I 100% recommend coming here, very well worth it! Will definitely come back!

Actually 1 st time we've eaten here. My order was wrong, I question the server about what a ordered, and he agreed. 3 min manager came out and I discussed with him I was served the wrong item. He apologized abd offered to fix it new, I declined because of time and what I was eating was delicious. Then the server again apologized. That is how service should, and its because the atmosphere is great and the staff is happy. Also the parking was packed on a Tuesday night, and they got us in right away. Not if restaurant parking are packed, it's usually a great sign why. Best Mexican in VB and we will never go anywhere else.
It was packed and service was insanely fast! The two different salsas hey brought to the table were so unique that my buddy and I both sat just trying to figure out the sweet and the spice to both the red and the white salsa. I had the Pollo Tropical and presentation knocked me out of my seat. Flavor and food quality was perfection. Giant house margaritas were excellent... HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
