Love this place, it’s my second review. Atmosphere/ambiance is a 5 especially later at night when the crowd’s gone, you and a friend can sit by the window on swings!
The tacos were good too, got the same thing last time - so there’s good food consistency! Service was good, the wait staff can sense when they don’t want to
bug you with constant checking in, but at the same time, timely enough to ask if you need more water or dessert!
This was my first time dining at Quirks. The ambiance was wonderful. The swinging chairs were really cool. The dining area was very spacious. The customer service was excellent! My dining partner and I had chicken tenders/fries/hush puppies and carne asada tacos/fries. The presentation was nice. The chicken tenders were juicy, but I wasn’t a fan of the seasoning used in the breading. It was hard to describe…it tasted like a BBQ grill/smoky flavor. It was quirky (no pun intended). The carne asada tacos were flavorful and a good portion size. If you’re in Virginia Beach’s Town Center, check them out!
Amazing place to grab a bite to eat and have a nice drink for a girls night! The food is cheap and they give you good portions! I loved it here! I had the cauliflower nachos and shared it with the table but still had a lot left over! It was so good! I really love the swinging chairs that they have too! The waitresses are amazing as well and very welcoming. This place is definitely a vibe!
**Update** The shrimp Po boy was amazing and it was seasoned very well!! The Remoulade sauce was on point!! I was very impressed and would highly recommend it!
Very interesting menu. Po boy was good with generous portions of shrimps. The Pork Sammy was good, very tender meat and flavorful, except there were more fat than expected. Drinks are great at very good prices. Very unique fun decor.
Pro tip. Go during happy hour. The drinks are even better.
Come at the right time and enjoy the Town Center fountains on the way in and see them pleasantly lit on the way out. Once inside, you’re greeted by the pleasant atmosphere where you’ll seat yourself in your choice of a people-watching net swinging window seat, a cafe’ style table seat, a high table/chair observation tower, or the more private bench seating in the back, doesn’t seem to be a bad seat in the house. Or server, Chris, was fantastic; he never left us wondering for food or drinks. I ordered the Durable burger as is and my companion the Aloha Tacos; both were amazing! The drink selection isn’t brewhouse level, but it won’t leave you thirsty, either. Overall, Quirks is high-Class food in a quirky warm environment—plan on becoming a regular here.
Restaurant has a fun atmosphere, which is why I picked this place to meet up with friends. Food was delicious. l ordered the California Dreamin & will definitely will be coming back. My friends ordered the Mac n cheese, nachos, and rice & been bowl (fried shrimp) & all enjoyed their meals.
My only recommendation is that their customer service is improved. We were not greeted by staff when we walked in. We were confused on whether this was a spot where you sat yourself or waited to be seated. We simply sat where we wanted. Our waitress was kind and professional once we sat at our table.
Carne Asada tacos were delicious. We really enjoyed the swing tables. We also liked the drinks. We got the peach tea cocktail and the orange creamsicle beer.
What a fun place to go for drinks, snacks and meals. Lively decorations of interesting and "quirky" pop culture items makes for a fun atmosphere. A great cocktail list and unique and delicious food combinations round out the offerings. Certainly a place to check out in Virginia Beach's Town Center.
I love finding places where I can chill even after eating. This is the place! The server was kind, the drinks were so good, and the Mac n cheese was delicious (unique Mac and cheese). I love that they have swing chairs at some of the tables. It's a fun place with a great vibe!
*Pokemon Go: if you play there are a ton of stops and gyms while at your table!
I am here with my family and the waitress is just the absolute sweetest, she was constantly refilling my drink when it was getting low and she was quite funny as well. and the fries are abominably immaculate. 10/10
