Blue Fin is by far the best place for Japanese cuisine in this city. Every time I've there, I have been blown away! The chef does an amazing job and Nadia is an incredible server. The Domo roll with the lightly Cajun seared tuna and rated garlic is to die for. No soy sauce needed here! Tell a friend and experience the food. My wife doesn't eat fish or any shellfish and the beef bulgogi has made her experience delectable as ours. Thank you chef for the amazing food and Nadia for the spot on service!
Every time I come to this amazing establishment I’m always taken care of. Staff is always on point with my order and go above and beyond to make my visit the best as possible. Food can’t be duplicated anywhere else. This is the definitely the go to Japanese and Sushi spot in the Virginia Beach.
I ordered take out and the service was great and atmosphere when I picked up. It’s a smaller spot but I plan on dining in soon. Pictured is crazy roll, shrimp tempura roll, and pork gyoza. Great quality and taste for the price!
I love this sushi place!! The best in VA Beach and the prices are great! I love getting the shrimp tempura roll and the sweet potato roll with extra ginger. YUM!! So good!

I got recommended this place from friends who liked sushi. I also like to try the food here as well because I checked their website and saw they have some Korean food made me think this place would be perfect restaurant for me since I like both Sushi and Korean food.
I made a plan to try many menu before I get in the restaurant .
But I wasn’t lucky like my friends who recommended this place to me because the waitress made me want to change my mind to come back on another days when she seat me very poor table I feel exactly uncomfortable sitting very close to the next table like back to back to another customer.
Plus it’s just right front of the door.
The waitress didn’t do even greeting me but she just use her face pointed me to sit at that table.
I need to ask her if I can get another better table after sat there for a few minutes, so I can move to sit in dining area.
The food very good taste for me.
Takosu is a little bit disappointed me with the way they cut very thin and too small portions for $14 appetizers but the taste was very very good.
Age Tofu is the best for me.
Nigiri sushi very good fresh especially UNI and Surf clam.
I liked all the food I ordered.
I will come back to try another sushi roll and Korean food and I wish I will luckier have another waitress not this lady.
Sushi was fresh and a nice kids menu. They have an extensive Maki roll list. Want to come back to try out more of them. They also have some Korean dishes. Service was very nice and accommodative.

Awesome staff, clean nicely decorated inside area to sit and eat. Sushi is made to order in front of you not in the kitchen you cannot see I really like places that do sushi like this! Everything tasted fresh and delicious 😋
This was my first visit and certainly won't be much last. The sushi was fresh, and the presentation was phenomenal. The atmosphere was quiet and intimate. A great escape from the chaos of the Hilltop area.
The food here is absolutely outstanding fresh everytime. The service is always genuine and courteous and polite. The atmosphere is family-orientated and very peaceful. My wife and I have made this bluefin are sushi home.

I could not stand sushi until my coworker brought me here last year. This is the only sushi place that I can eat from. The sushi is spectacular and very delicious, and this is coming from someone who couldn't even keep down sushi a year ago. The kitchen entrées are equally as delicious; best chicken fried rice I've ever had. Clean, cozy, beautifully designed interior, and great service. Please, do yourself a favor, come to Blue Fin.
