El Tapatio Mexican Grill

Absolutely delicious! Prices are average and reasonable. We use to go to another Mexican restaurant in Vero, BUT they raised their prices so much and didn't update them on there menu, we decided never again. We were on the hunt for a new Mexican restaurant to eat at. Well we found it! Fish was cooked to perfection and was bigger than we thought it would be. It had a lot of meat on it. Really good portion of rice and beans! Some places are not serving the portion sizes they use to and raising the prices on top of that. We will definitely be eating here often.

This was our first time here but won't be our last. The food was absolutely outstanding! Great taste, came out hot, well prepared, authentic, great value. I can't say enough about how good it was. The service was exceptional as well. Kristin was our server and she was AWESOME! We sat near the front and observed the people who came in for takeout or catering as well as people being seated. This place really knows ho to take car of people. What a great experience.

I know there are tons of postive reviews but I was disappointed. First the place is very small and expect a wait. Once I got inside I noticed the floors were dirty. Lots of stuff under the tables. Obviously they don't sweep and clean up well after customers which I makes sense since they are so busy and getting patrons seated next. I had the fajitas which was weird. 1st they brought out the rice and beans on a plate and waited 5 mins before the chicken came out then another few minutes for the torillas to come out. Then they didn't provide a plate to eat it since you had the plate filled with the rice and beans on it. Slow service and erratic. The salsa was bland and I though the fajitas lacked seasoning as well. Maybe an off day but I was not impressed and have no desire to wait long again for meal that was medicore. Positive side the prices were not too out of line and reasonable.

Ate at Tepatio for Lunch with a few friends and the tacos were on point , the beer was cold 😎. The service was good , even though there was only one waitress taking care of the whole place , which is not that big, but just seems they were understaffed that day . Overall is good place to eat , will definitely come back.
