Suzie's Cafe & Catering

I stopped in here with my wife for breakfast recently. It was very good. The breakfast items were all pretty standard but done well. Where this place really shines is the service and the desserts: the staff are all extremely friendly. They make you feel as though you are a friend rather than customer. Also, their dessert selections are out of this world. They have cake, muffins, cinnamon rolls, pies, cookies, the list goes on and it is all great I will definitely go here again if I am ever in the area.

This place is the best diner in town, always packed, reasonable prices, and friendly staff. Check out the pastry bar for the largest pastries you have ever seen. The presentation of them is nice and I drool every time I see them. I got one once as a treat for my kid, there was a lot of me saying, "No buddy, this isn't good for you." As I took 3 bites to his 1 because it was just that good. Yeah, little dude wasn't too happy but luckily he still loves me anyways :) Highly highly recommend.

We sat on the front porch and was surprised to see a bird's nest and even two baby birds just outside of the screen! Food was very good. I ordered the farmers omelet and opted to make it a wrap with a tomato wrap. Even though I ate the whole thing, I was hoping for more seasoning perhaps? But that is just a personal preference, it was a very good omelet; I added some hot sauce and enjoyed it very much. Very busy place with it's on scene bakery, but you wouldn't know from the attentive staff and how well laid out the restaurant is to keep noise under control.

Good breakfast, great lunch, but the desserts are DIVINE! Went to breakfast here with my wife and son and enjoyed the meal. Highlights are definitely their cinnamon rolls which are the size of a plate and insanely delectable, and the homemade cinnamon raisin bread. I found my pecan waffle to be a bit of a let down, but the meal was still overall good. Service was great considering how busy the place gets. What seems to be missing from so many reviewed is how outrageously delicious the desserts are at Suzie's! My inner fat kid got so excited, that I ate my dessert before I realized I hadn't taken a picture of it to share yet. Guess I have to go back and try again...darn.
