Amazing place!!! The staff is wonderful. This is a true home town diner that hasn't forgotten its roots.
If your looking for something light the only thing you'll find is a wrap (which is also really good). I recommend everything on this menu. If you have a chance to try their specials I highly recommend.

Superb homemade soup, wonderful deep fried okra. We found it by accident but we will be back on purpose. Service was excellent, the food is fresh and homemade. The customers friendly. This is the quintessential small town gathering spot. Highly recommended!

The wait staff were very friendly and personable, checking up on us frequently and offering refills. The food was ready fast, it was always hot and fresh. And the 50s/40s aesthetic really sells the place :)

Good food in downtown Union, MO. Sometimes you just want some good American food (that's not fast food) for a change. Your heart and arteries just need some lubrication every now and again. Been going there every few weeks since 1983 when the family moved out here. Deserts are worth it too.

Stopped here on my way through town for breakfast. Sat at the counter by myself. Great little cafe/diner! Lots of hard workers. Love the old time mom & pop type atmosphere. The food was perfect and service was great. Prices even better. Would love to stop again for lunch.

Love the feeling of being able to sit and dine with your family and eat like you could years ago the old time feel. Its like having a home cooked meal that you don't have to cook! Was pretty busy but atmosphere,food and service was great !!
