I was passing through Ukiah and this place was recommended to me. The fried cheese curds were amazing, and the honey mustard dipping sauce was delicious. We had a happy hour wedge salad that was a good size, only lacking bacon. The pizza was fantastic. The wood-fired crust was really flavorful. I wish I could have tried all the pizzas! The ingredients were really fresh. Our server was friendly and attentive. I'd definitely go back.
Local farm sourced ingredients. Wonderful. Cozy and welcoming environment. Creative preparation. Inviting presentation. Solid service. All together, we loved our meal and experience.
A great place for fine dining in Mendocino county! Up there with the best Ukiah has to offer, Cultivo has an awesome menu with something for everyone, amazing service to satisfy your dining experience, and a very welcoming ambience.
We started with the Bastone with roasted garlic olive oil, as well as just a couple oysters for myself. I had the Short Rib Pasta and my partner ordered the Olive-A-Boat pizza; both were amazing. We finished with some buffalo cauliflower, and the Frozen Lemon Mousse.
I also enjoyed the Cougar Spritzer, as well as two brews that were featured on happy hour.
The quality is well worth the cost.
Thank you Cultivo!
Great place for pizza. Not for fine dining. Lack of servers made it hard to get prompt refills, order change or info. The Saffron papperdell (sp) with Seared scallops was delightful, and the portions were big. Don't forget to order their bread braid. No desserts, sadly. Because it was my birthday. But it was a good time in general.
Cultivo, our catering choice for our wedding, deserves high praise, especially for their wood-fired pizza. The pizza was not only delicious but also a unique and memorable addition to our celebration. Our guests were impressed, and Cultivo's culinary craftsmanship truly stood out. Highly recommended, especially if you want to elevate your wedding with exceptional wood-fired pizza!
I checked out this place for the first time. The atmosphere was great. I had one of their pizzas and it was spectacular. They also had a good variety of craft beers on tap. My only complaint would be the service. I don't think it was a bad waitress, but she seemed overloaded with customers and got sidetracked a couple times. However, she was still very friendly and welcoming. Definitely coming back here again.
Food was excellent, we had the New York style pizza from a wood fried oven and the flavor was awesome! The service was quick and thoughtful, the food was out fast! We will definitely be going back!
The pizza was awesome. Cleaned dining room. Staff was fantastic.

We went back several time after Saucy changes to Cultivo and I'm so in love literally the best meal we ever had in town. The salad was great, pizza was perfect you can taste the quality of fresh produces. the service was excellent. We add this to our regular place. when our friends or family in town we always took them here. I'm far beyond happy to come back here again and again. Fantastic dining experience.
This place is of the just the right balance of hip and classy. The food is off the charts. BY FAR one of the best places I have eaten in the county. Ambience is relaxing and cool . I preferred the salmon tartar app, grilled some fruit salad, oxtail pasta and the wild boar pizza. Top notch
1. A nice, modern restaurant in downtown Ukiah. They have 50% seating inside due to COVID and a handful of tables out front. They are also offering take out. All staff wears facemasks.
2. The best Neapolitan-style pizza north of Sonoma County (where we have Diavola). It's probably the last place for any decent pizza like this - north of Sonoma County - you'll find if you're heading up Highway 101.
3. We ordered the Margherita - the true test of pizza goodness. My friend added bacon on half.
4. The pizza was very yummy with delicious fresh mozzarella and a well flavored tomato sauce. The bacon was quite possibly some of the best bacon I've ever had in my life.
5. I like my pizza crispier, so next time I'll ask for it that way. I suggest you doing the same if you prefer a bit more crisp than "wet."
6. We had a delicious, in season heirloom tomato salad with corn and balsamic/olive oil. Bright red and very tasty.
7. Service was very friendly. Our order was placed behind a group of six, so we had to wait a considerable time for even our appetizer. The server apologized, however, I suggest sending out a small snack or putting ahead a two top before a large party. We were very hungry and we were shocked by the 30 minute wait for a tomato salad. (But, this is me speaking as a former hospitality worker.)
8. By the time we were able to start enjoying our salad, the pizza came out. I'd rather be able to enjoy my salad a bit longer before diving into the pizza - unless we ask otherwise. I will remind them to slow the firing for the pizza next time, if desired.
Overall, I look forward to returning. A delicious night, under the stars, in charming downtown Ukiah!
