Applebee's

The woman working that night were really nice. Everything they passed by they asked how everything was and if I needed anything. Service was fantastic and friendly. Everything if come to this Applebee's the customer service is just fantastic and stellar. Food was fantastic, the only thing I would have liked was if the brownie was a little easier to cut. The bottom was a little hard to cut through.

No photos, because I didn't actually eat here. Read on... Applebee's is right around the corner. I like Applebee's but haven't been inside this one yet since I'm new to Tyler. I'm trying to get out of the house a little more and fight the work-at-home/play-at-home isolation. So I decided to try this location on 3/28/2022. I walk in maybe 90 minutes before closing time, and stand at the hostess station. After standing there a couple of minutes, I see someone at the back of the bar area look at me and start walking toward me. I'm guessing she's the hostess, and I smile at her, only for her to stop at the bar and sit down and start chatting with the bartender. I figure "oh, I guess she doesn't work here after all" and start looking around for the host/hostess. The bartender isn't super busy, but he never greets me or says anything to me about seating, so I stand there, waiting. After waiting awkwardly for about 5 more minutes the same lady who sat at the bar to laugh it up with the bartender got up and seated me. She told me "your waitstaff will get with you as soon as they can." Which i found odd because there were only like 4-5 tables sat, not including me. The place was really empty. I should note, that at this point, I had seen no waitstaff either. After 5 minutes at the table, I noticed the table that was seated before I had arrived still didn't have drinks. That means they'd been sitting there a good 10-12 minutes, without someone bringing them even water. And I still didn't see a single waitstaff visiting anyone. So I got up and went next door to Olive Garden. I don't know what was going on at the Applebee's that night, but I don't really care to return to find out if it was a one-off.

Okay so I know Applebee’s close at 12 but it’s only 11:10. The manger at the location tried to serve me a unacceptable meal. The food was sloped on my plate like a dog. The presentation was horrible my potatoes look like they was just thrown on the and steak was shriveled up, it was supposed to be cooked to medium. I will allow you guys to judge. And to Applebee’s please hire staff who doesn’t scream and yell after a order is sent. It’s disgusting, be professional. And to the manger, you wouldn’t serve this plate your family so why did you serve it to me. Edit: So 2nd time was a charm, however I’m still stunned at how they treat there customers. If I never said anything to manger then she would have intentionally served me a meal that’s not up to standard with corporate.

Unfortunately this was not a positive experience. We had to stand and wait to be seated for 13 minutes uses, it was not busy and there were plenty of places to sit down. When the hostess finally came to greet us and sit us down, she was very shy, never apologized and acted scared to talk, perhaps she was just having a bad day. Once we were seated we were rushed to order. We told the waitress we needed time to look over the menu but we did want to put in our appetizer order. The waitress came and got our order, it took her so long, we had all finished our drinks. Needless to say, the food was ordered and it took forever for the food to get to the table plus they forgot to bring the soup and they forgot to bring the salad dressing. We sat and waited for the forgotten items our food got cold. We just asked for to-go boxes so we could leave. Our waitress spent most of her time at a table full of young men on the other side of the restaurant. The bathroom was dirty as was the carpet in the restaurant. We will not be back to this particular Applebee's.

Upon entering employees standing around and just looking at us. Finally after about 5 minutes or so we were finally seated. Our waitress was wonderful but the food was HORRIBLE. My steak was very tough and cold. Another person at our table sent her food back and it still came back cold. All Applebee's are horrible. This is definitely a chain that should shut down. The manager did comp all food minus drink... but seriously I have yet to go to a good Applebee's

We drove 13 hours in from Nebraska. We sat in the bar area, asked to move to another table because the music was blasting in our ears over head. My husband had a quesadilla burger w/fries. Burger looked good but literally only got 9 fries(cold). I ordered a grilled chicken Oriental Salad. The lettuce was brown, old, there was more dry noodles then there was lettuce. Very disappointed.

Service was awful. Server sat us and had to be reminded 3 times that we needed kids menus then had to be reminded to get the beer that had been ordered so by this time it wasn’t cold. Had to be asked multiple times for a refill on water when he finally remembers he comes back quickly with another glass and pours it into my wife’s. What is that it seemed like he just grabbed the nearest glass. Took forever to pay my bill literally had the server see my card when I handed him the bill said I’d be right back. Came back pointed at me said check still with my card where he had previously seen it on top of the check. He proceeds to turn around and disappear. If I ever were to walk out on a bill it would have been this one. He finally decided to show up take my card and let me get out of this nightmare.
