Denny's

I really wanted to like this place because I love the nostalgic diner feel of the outside. It was clean, and that's always a big plus and not always a given when you go to a Denny's. The inside decor was pretty basic and they did a half-hearted attempt at Halloween decorations. I ordered the Grand slam with two eggs sunny-side up hash browns two sausage links, two bacon strips and two pancakes. The food arrived in a good time and was hot. Unfortunately the eggs and the hash browns were pretty greasy. You can even see that in the picture of my meal. My wife had a grilled cheese sandwich and said that it was also pretty greasy. Pancakes were standard Denny's pancakes. The the service was okay, friendly enough but not very attentive. I had to ask for a refill after my first cup of coffee and it was empty for a few minutes. The bathrooms were fairly clean.

My husband and I went there today around 11:30. They sat us down. At first there was no one around us. Then all of sudden there was a big family with screaming kids, no masks for any of them including the adults. Our food finally came. What my husband order was nothing like what he wanted. The cheeseburger I ordered was not cooked all the way, I asked for bacon on it they did not put any on it, so the waitress went and got me two pieces. But of course it was not cooked. I would have reordered something else but I did not feel comfortable sitting real close to other people and screaming kids. They don't have people sitting 6ft apart at all. I did not have to pay for the food, however I had to pay for our drinks. Which in all honesty I should not had to pay for anything.we will never go back there ever again. Poor service also.
