I 1st ate here over 20 years ago when the only thing they served was ribs. Loved it then and I loved it today. This is the original location. It is full ofull of character and delicious smells. When you sit down you will be handed a basket of white bread and barbecue sauce as an appetizer.If it's your 1st time you gotta get the ribs. That's what put them on the map. Good stuff I'll definitely be back :)
Original Dreamland BBQ location and it's very good. Their ribs, sausage, chicken and side's and deserts are delicious. Enjoyed the food and the old school decor and friendly staff. Will be eating here more often.
Good ribs and chicken. Original place has a more limited (specialized?) menu than some of their newer locations.

An answer to a prayer! Where is the BEST Half chicken in Alabama (in the country)? It's by far the Best! Melt in your mouth tender, juicy, amazing seasoning on the skin.
Definitely a hidden gem, the definition of a shack. Amazing slabs of ribs with a great, spicy BBQ sauce to go with them. The smoked sausage was nice and crispy, and the white bread paired perfectly with the sauce. The sides and banana pudding were very good, and the atmosphere is amazing. Very fun and unique place to go to when you are in Tuscaloosa.

When you are in Tuscaloosa, do yourself a favor and get some wonderful smoked BBQ from Dreamland. Man this place is not only a legend, but the food is delicious. I just want a few ribs, no sauce, and their fabulous banana pudding. πβπ½ππ½π
Them bones are always good...if you never had them you need to try them rib's. The banana pudding is good too. RTR...π―π―ππΊπΈβοΈ
