My family is from Venezuela and I have been looking for a good Venezuelan restaurant for a long time. I live two hours away and today was my first time to try it. WOW!! The shredded beef empanadas were fantastic!! My grandmother used to make them and these were just as good. My wife got Arroz Mixto which is a mixture of rice, chicken, steak, and vegetables. I tried it and it was very good, too. My brother-in-law got a Pepito sandwich which I tried. Very good. And, they have Cokes bottle in Mexico and made with real sugar. I will definitely be going back every time I get a chance.

Excellent food and a great addition to the Tulsa restaurant scene. I recommend La Bandera with either chicken or beef and be sure to add a side of platano maduro (sweet plantain). Try to save room for Flan.

We had dinner here and the specials were very good. I also had the strawberry smoothie which was delicious. The service was good. They are reopened as of July 2015.
