Soul food is down home food, and Sweet Lisa is a place where you can find it when your out and about.
Would rate a five, but the seasoning in the fried wings is a bit light. The beans and cornbread would make your momma cry- they are that good!

Great menu for breakfast and lunch.

I’m in North Tulsa with my son Ondraie and I wanted some breakfast. I’m used to the phenomenal soul food from Sweet Lisa’s but today…this breakfast is so good I almost slapped my boy!!! Excellent job on breakfast.

Dope spot. The ladies at the front were nice and welcoming. We had a conversation for a few moments. Cool laid back music. I got the catfish sandwich. The cat fish was well cooked and seasonings were on point.

The food was great like always. The staff are very kind and friendly with all their customers. Great place to enjoy a meal any given day.

Great as always. Definitely get the catfish if you go. I get the same thing every time. Catfish double cabbage as my sides at $12 can't beat that.

I love the Christian environment the attitudes of the workers are very genuine and the food is off the chain. The portions that you get will leave you either full or needing a to go box. The fried catfish is amazing, can't stop eating it.

Just off 75 North of downtown makes a quick sit-down lunch. Catfish and literally everything on the menu is delicious home cooked goodness! Large variety of cooked veggies and comfort food, including pies and desserts. Great value for generous portions! Staff is friendly and efficient. Try the fresh tea- sweet or not - it is the best around.

I'm writing this review years after my visit, which tells you how great this experience was, as I still remember it. Best fried fish I've had, and the sides were good too. This is ultimate southern comfort food, felt like I was in a mom's dining room. I had spent my morning painting a mural of Obama at Booker T high school, and this was recommended for lunch. I try to recreate that fish but it's never as good as my memory of it at Sweet Lisa's. I don't live near Tulsa now, but I miss the food all the time.
