Cute restaurant w an open seating area and to go. Tons of choices for veg and main entres.
We ordered 3 PC catfish w greens and grilled broccoli, and a veg plate of yams, Mac n cheese, okra, and peas.
They should've warned us about portions... They were huge! Catfish done perfectly w a fried cornbread coating. Broccoli did not disappoint: grilled w onions or butter? Not certain, but delish. The greens were beyond good, slightly sour w pork(?)
Mac n cheese for s never a favorite, so not sure. My spouse liked it. Yams were sweet and not overcooked.
Don't ever forget dessert. Their cake slices are seriously enormous and well worth old fashioned box cake.
Have to go but get there early on a Sunday...

The food was great like always. The staff are very kind and friendly with all their customers. Great place to enjoy a meal any given day.
Great as always. Definitely get the catfish if you go. I get the same thing every time. Catfish double cabbage as my sides at $12 can't beat that.
Neat place. We are out of State and came to see what the talk was about and it was a great place to watch them actually making our ice cream! Kid loved it

Sad I had to eat on the run. But had to catch my flight. So good. Will return if/when I come back to Tulsa
Just off 75 North of downtown makes a quick sit-down lunch. Catfish and literally everything on the menu is delicious home cooked goodness! Large variety of cooked veggies and comfort food, including pies and desserts. Great value for generous portions! Staff is friendly and efficient. Try the fresh tea- sweet or not - it is the best around.
