Tulare Donuts

In my effort to support local businesses, I stopped here to buy some donuts for my class .... 30 glazed. As I was paying, I was told to call ahead and order the donuts because only a certain amount are made. My thinking is they should be happy they sold those donuts, that's 3 dozen they don't have to worry about selling. Whatever! I will go elsewhere next time.

Five Stars goes for the product and the owner. We came here on a weekday morning right around the time they opened. The case wasn't fully stocked yet but my wife was looking to buy some donuts for her co workers and the selection there was good enough for a dozen. They looked so good! Perfect fluffiness, coating, you name it! I personally didn't get to try one but my wife said her fellow partners ate them up! Even said that these donuts were the better pick opposed to the other Donuts another co worker had brought in that day. Unfortunately they didn't have an Apple Fritter out yet for the misses so we actually made a trip back into town later in the day to check on it. They in fact did but now the selection of donuts was almost completely empty because they got wiped out! This is where we interacted with the owner and she was a delight! Super friendly! Sweet and helpful! We met the opener for this location in the morning and he was "alright", friendly but more "I'm busy, can we hurry this along" kind of attitude. Definitely preferred the owner. Overall I know will be coming back to get some donuts! I can't wait to try a glaze, my wife said the Apple Fritter was incredible! Unfortunately not too many apple pieces in it, but the dough was super moist and soft with a nice bite from the glaze and texture. Can't wait to see what else they have in store!

So so soft and always fresh! Great prices! You can use your debit card but you'll need to spend a certain amount ($5 I believe). Always have doughnut holes! Cinnamon Rolls, Jelly Filled, Bear Claws as well as the other pastries are so fresh, soft, warm and filled perfectly 🍩🍩🍩!! Top it off with a hot or cold drink! You're able to eat inside if you the time. Children Friendly! The staff is very polite and well groomed. Visible food inspection A! Definitely will be returning and recommending!! ☕🍩🍰🍩🍰🍩🍰☕
