Great drink selection. They have house made teas on specialized taps. They have a diverse menu with many vegetarian and vegan options. The atmosphere is very well done and the patios are superb. Natural light during the day allows a happy atmosphere throughout the space. Employees were helpful and guided us on an amazing meal experience. Highly recommended!
O.M.G. This place is so delicious! The first week it opened I went 3 times. It now been a little bit and the food still comes out amazing every time. On my top 3 lunch spots for sure. Get the tea, even if you’re not normally a tea drinker, it’s tasty and refreshing!

The food was mouthwateringly delicious. The staff was so friendly, had helpful suggestions and everything was clean and beautiful! I was extrmely happy with the vegan options while the rest of my group said their meat options were the bomb. Highly recommend!
Disclosure: I have known Nate, Head Bread Baker (?), for a number of years. However, if I wasn't impressed with August Rhodes, I would not leave any review. We heard he left his previous place recently, and we wanted to try this new restaurant. My wife had the brisket on milk bread and a cup of the tomato basil soup. It was outstanding. I had the grilled cheese on sour dough with fresh made chips. I loved it. The people there were super friendly, the place was clean. And, although crowded, we found a seat. We got a second loaf of the milk bread to take home. My wife got one the week before. It disappeared quickly. Toasted with a lot of real butter. Can't praise it enough. I hope this place sticks around. Thanks, Nate.
Tasty sandwiches and soups. I love the textures as my teeth sink into the bread and the presentation is very pleasing. The portions are on the smaller side for the half and half so I would advise against it in favor of enjoying a full size of one or the other. Kid friendly! They brought a high chair out for my friend and have a good size changing table. I also was able to get a spoon upon request since there wasn't one in the kit for my takeout order. I can't wait to go back to try more off their menu!
Had the turkey club for lunch. It was absolutely delicious! The bread was so soft and tasty, I wish you could just buy a loaf from them! I was very surprised at the size of the sandwich, definitely not stingy and a very generous portion! Staff was very friendly as well! Definitely recommend coming here!

Located in the old foot print of Prep and Pastry. We arrived for lunch today just in time before a crowd of people flowed through the doors. We walked in to smell the amazing house made breads and soups cooking. We were right away greeted by the friendly attentive Owner Nathan and other staff. It is a casual walk up counter order station with seat yourself set up that has plenty of seating inside plus a covered misted patio. Our very generously sized sandwiches arrived at the table and we were amazed by how delicious each sandwich was. All of us now telling each other to try a bite of the different dishes because of how good it was. Owner Nathan even brought us soup to sample paired with our dishes. If you are looking for a new creative local eatery go try August Rhodes Market and be sure to bring an appetite.
