Pop Up Bbq

Came in on a whim while craving BBQ and we're not disappointed. 10/10 brisket- most tender, smoky, perfectly cooked. 10/10 pork belly- flavorful, tender, moist, delicious. 10/10 goat sausage- perfectly seasoned, moist, extremely flavorful. 9/10 jalapeno cornbread- very flavorful with perfect bite from jalapenos. Pulled pork Mac and cheese was decent and so delicious. The sides were amazing, the drinks were spot on. The service was great, atmosphere was amazing, management was attentive and friendly. They carried a variety of fresh BBQ sauces and everything was wonderful. We have a 3 and 6 year old and they also thought the food was excellent. Would absolutely recommend and will 110% be returning on future visits!!!

Great place for large group meals. About 20 of us met for lunch. Plenty of seating was available outside, where we enjoyed some privacy and great weather. Service was good, and the waiter was easily able to split check for all individual parties. I'm not a fan of BBQ and generally prefer salads over meat centric dishes. I found a suitable salad while my husband and others enjoyed pulled pork, brisket, mac n'cheese, etc.. Brother John's won't be my first choice for healthy eating going forward, but the menu does accommodate different meal requirements.

Had my wedding here and it was fantastic! Diana & the entire staff ensured every detail was absolutely perfect. The service was fast and friendly and the food was phenomenal. Everyone raved about the ceremony to the dessert! They took care of literally everything except the officiant. Consider Brother John’s for your next event, they won’t disappoint!

This is the best BBQ in Town! We just had my son and daughter-in-laws wedding rehearsal dinner here and it was amazing. The Brisket and pulled pork melted in your mouth. It was so delicious and smoked to perfection! Everyone was raving about it and said they found a new restaurant to frequent. Even the salad was something special, not the usual boring iceberg but mixed greens with an assortment of toppings, really excellent. The service was awesome and the private room was perfect. I cannot say enough how good everything was, days later we are still wishing we had some leftovers to enjoy. Looks like we'll have to make a return visit soon!

I was in town working for the day and my boss that he knew a great place to get lunch. Boy was I surprised it doesn't look like much from the outside but the food is delicious the pork belly was so tender the mac and cheese was so creamy and the absolute best part of the meal with onions and jalapenos they serve with the pork belly I think it was delicious

Fried chicken sandwich was juicy and breading had a good crunch. I had sauce on the side to preserve the crispness. Sandwich was tasty enough without sauce. Chicken was not very salty and the blandness of the chicken allows for the BBQ sauces to come to the forefront. Service was excellent. Prompt, kind, professional, and never let our beverages go dry. I would gladly return.

Overall, it is a very good place. I will need to try some more things. Chili is average and spicy. Goat sausage was really good. It worked well with the sauces. Brisket was very good. The dry rub spices at the table added a needed kick. The pastrami sandwich is a bacon sandwich it's very fatty and thick cut.

The BBQ is good, however, compared to the BBQ scene in Tucson, it’s great! It is a scratch kitchen and they have a great variety of food options, and not just BBQ. They has an extensive and amazing selections of beers and whiskey. We ordered family style: pork belly, 1/2 chicken, chef’s weekly sausage special, and 1/2 rack St. Louis ribs. The ribs and pork belly were delicious! Great smoke flavor and tender. The chicken was good, but a little underwhelming. They have a great variety of sauces which are tasty, although we hardly used them since they weren’t needed. The tots were cooked to absolute perfection. The beignets were so good. Get them, even if you’re full. It’s worth it. The normal Mac n cheese was good, but I can’t wait try one of their specialty ones next time. I would definitely recommend Brother Johns and I can’t wait to go back!
