LOVELY little restaurant! I can see why they got so many awards when they were under a different name. Everyone was welcoming right away, our waitress was tremendous. I waited to long to write this review so I forgot her name 🙈 but I think it was Frances or something? Older lady, anyways great customer service and very kind. She was on it too!! Food was just as great and budget friendly, which is rare to find nowadays! Oh and their pies, YUMMM. Itching to go back!! Support local ♥️

I love breakfast, and I was in the mood for a chili covered omelette. Margie’s was able to supply that for me. I asked for crispy home fries and they did a great job of that too, crisp not burnt. The only thing that would have made breakfast better was if it was served hot, however I went Sunday during breakfast rush so I understand the food sitting a little bit before it gets to the table. I ordered a pie for the holidays and I am excited to see if they are as great as they advertised.

First time visiting this establishment. Warmly greeted upon entry and invited to sit wherever I'd like. Server arrived almost immediately and took my drink request. I enjoyed a nice cup of decaf, a glass of ice water with lemon (water is served by request only), chicken fried steak, poached eggs, grits and a toasted English muffin. My coffee was flavorful and without issue. My eggs were cooked to order. I found the chicken fried steak was obviously a prefabricated frozen puck. And while it was flavorful, I'd preferred a hand beaded one made from scratch. Additionally l would had preferred real gravy Vs. pre-made, prepackaged gravy. My grits were yummy, l ideally have them with butter and covered in pancake syrup. My grilled English muffin was expertly prepared. Overall l was extremely pleased and would highly recommend visiting this establishment.

We eat here often and love the food. Today's shout-out is about the most unique dessert we have ever encountered. Prickly Pear Meringue Pie. The tangy sweet fruit filling is really cactus fruit jellied and topped with an enormous cloud of fluffy meringue. It's definitely a southwest American delicacy. We are not sure how long this amazing pastry is going to be on the menu, but we recommend snagging a piece. WOW

Absolutely fantastic! Excellent customer service, the menu has something for everyone, the food quality is A+++, and they cook the eggs perfect to order. Overall, the best breakfast/lunch diner style restaurant I have found in Arizona. Highly recommend!

Oh yeah! Breakfast is served at Margies Kitchen! 2 eggs, homefires, a biscuit and gravy with a side of chorizo! So freaking good! Their daily specials are really specials! Don't sleep on this place! And those cinnamon rolls, made daily, get 'em while they last! 9431 E 22nd St, Tucson, AZ 85710 It doesn't matter where you spend it, just spend it locally! Service was outstanding our cups were never empty and we had everything we needed, we were so happy with the service. The food was great also, hot and fresh, but could have used a little more seasoning. You have to try the cinnamon rolls! Thanks Bread and Butter Cafe for making our Saturday morning breakfast such a great experience!

Friendly down home country breakfast vibe. Fresh eggs. Crispy bacon and Home fries not too greasy. I should have gotten Sourdough toast as the Wheat toast was kind of lightweight. Will definitely be back. They have a meatless early bird breakfast special under $5 before beverage.

Had the chorizo scramble with hot salsa and hash browns. Good flavors on the salsa and sausage. Place got packed with 20+ people waiting outside after we arrived. Food service was quick and waitress kept our coffee and water topped off.
