China Olive Super Buffet

Very good! A small group of us escaped work for lunch, and we figured a buffet would make the most of the time we had. Weekday lunchtime is not exactly prime time but I was impressed at how complete of a spread and the quality of food. Yes, paper plates, chopsticks or plastic forks, and wear a provided plastic glove to self-serve. It’s necessary, now, because of Covid. Same setup at Linh’s, so if it detracts from your experience a buffet isn’t for you. Food was better cooked and maintained than when I had dinner (also a weekday) at Linh’s several weeks ago. Sushi here were rolls and pretty good, about half a dozen that were distinctly different and as good as I would expect at a buffet. Plenty of cooked Chinese dishes that were well done. Better hot and sour soup normal! More complete salad and dessert section than I would have expected. Service was quietly efficient - plates were cleared and drinks refreshed without the need to ask. Definitely want to return for a weekend dinner, and eat big. Recommended!

They seemed a little short staffed, but even so, we had great and friendly service. The buffet was full and the food was great. I only wish there was more sushi, but if that's the only thing wrong when they are working with a small crew, I'd say they are doing a great job. There was some sushi after all and it tasted great. We will definitely continue to come back.

This is a family owned place that has been around for years and it’s clear why. Food is great, service is good and the atmosphere is completely comfortable. The price for what you get is unmatched. We are regulars here! The crab is to die for, the noodles, the mushrooms… everything. Delish. 10/10 if you’re reading this review and are wanting to try it out.. PLZ DO!
