Awesome service, great prime rib and large butterfly shrimp, along with all of the regular items and world famous pot roast. Salad bar was great and so was the carrot cake!
Had a wonderful experience with this Gold Corral here in Tucson Az. Friendly staff. Being Thanksgiving yesterday the waiting was short and I would recommend this restaurant to who ever is in the area.
We went on Thanksgiving Day, and it was very busy. The lime was out the door, and it took us about a 30-minute wait . Ònce we got in, they did have a good selection, but a few pieces of the broccoli were still frozen. I guess they were in a hurry to get the food out.
I can't thank the employees of this Golden Corral enough! The food was just perfect,our service attendant outstanding and the customers were all in enjoyment mode! What a feast as invited my friend Gene Keltto a 94 year young Korean war veteran! Hurrah!
They were friendly and accommodating for our large group had us in the banquet room. The waitress was very friendly. Food was good. The reason I took one star off was because when I went to get my medium rare steak it was completely charred on on one side was well done in the middle and definitely could not eat it that way. Did go back and order a second one which was good.
Haven't had Golden Corral in ages so I visited today. It was clean, the food was great, and the servers were friendly. I loved all the options. Bacon was crispy and delicious, the corned beef hash was tasty and that bread pudding was excellent. Hoping lunch/dinner will be just as good next time I choose to visit.
The food was great. I had a plate of salad with lots of veggies and then small pieces of ham, steak pot roast. All the meats were delicious. Dessert was pecan pie with ice cream. 4 stars because of the price. $43.00 for 2 senior people. I'll probably go again but it will be awhile.
Everything is great! Not many selection like a Chinese buffet but taste is consistent. Consistency is important for a buffet in my opinion. No steak on lunch but they have hamburger made fresh on the grill.
I enjoyed the bourbon chicken and fried fish the most.
A lot of dessert options. Carrot cake is so good! Not recommend the coconut cake one because it tastes like chemical flavor not good. Overall good food and services!
Good service, good food and good atmosphere... steak from the grill was awesome, I asked for a medium/well and got a great tasting, tender, juicey piece of 🥩 steak. Unfortunately though we had to ask our waitress if we could get fresh rolls because all that were left were hard. Love their coffee ☕ though!
This was my 1st experience at a Golden Corral restaurant. It was some of the best buffet I've had in a long time. It's overwhelming the amount of food there is. The employees are nice as well. I want to come back to this place again sometime based on how good they are!
Ate here with my family today, 4 adults and 2 kids. There was many people eating tonight but the food was hot and tasty. Some of their dishes are just on point.
I recommend medium steaks for their meat.
So many people meant the desserts were slim picks, however, I commend their ability to feed so many people and still offer people service/refills and refilling food as they can.
I do think they do the best they can as to not create excess waste. Unfortunately waste is always going to happen in these areas.
I still got chocolate cake, strawberries, banana pudding, and ice cream. Missed that bread pudding though.
Haven't been in 15 years because it started to suck really bad. My wife has been begging me to go and I've refused for years. My minds now changed. They actually had decent food on the line up. I really enjoyed everything I ate. Surprisingly my favorite was the vegetable medley from the pot roast. Its kept separate from the meat donyou can get as much as you like. I had a dozen fried shrimp that were big fat things. The steak was pretty good for being from golden corral it was tender and juicy but not all that tasty. Our "waitress" was super attentive to a party ot 11, 5 of which were adults and 6 were children. Even the children left tip money of their own because they loved her so much.
