The Golden Nugget, a legendary Tucson dive bar, has managed to preserve its magic even in new digs, much to the relief of a loyal fan like myself. Amidst the concern that the essence might be lost, this place exceeded expectations. It's still the haven for cheap beers, where the clink of glasses harmonizes with the laughter of good friends. The unmistakable sound of shuffleboard pucks sliding across the worn surface remains, grounding the place in its dive bar authenticity. What makes it special is that it's not just a throwback; it's an update for the future. The Nugget embraces its roots while giving a nod to what's to come. It's the same old charm with a fresh perspective, a testament to the enduring allure of a classic dive bar experience. Here's to cheap beers, good company, and the timeless vibe that makes The Nugget shine.

My wife and I have enjoyed the afternoons, it remodeled and is reasonably priced. Unfortunately I cannot give a 5 star on the atmosphere as we were there with friends and a gentleman started to goad one of my friends into a fight. Security was great, they were patient and curtious but the situation did get way out of hand and almost became a street brawl. We barely got away without fighting. I would still recommend this establishment to anyone, you just need to be aware as the night progresses.

During the day its a great place to go have a quiet drink and relax or play some pool, which is free everyday until 5. It is however the exact opposite at night. DJs playing great music every night except when there's karaoke. The staff if friendly and the service is great. One of my favorite hang outs.

I personally do not recommend the club/ bar however, I HIGHLY recommend their food truck. Baby! That truck does not disappoint after a late night and you still have that food craving. In fact, I have been to the bar 1 time and the truck over 10 times. I loveee their stake tacos. Cooked the way steak should be, not chewy or rubbery; it is well seasoned. They only thing is I wished it was cooked over mesquite. Their Sonoran dogs have come to be my go to. The add ones are great and the order never takes more than 6mins— even on a busy night. The only thing I wish, is that they actually wrapped the hotdogs in bacon. Instead, they sprinkle average grade bacon bits on top as a garnish. The truck is open late, clean and have friendly staff. You can also drink your cocktail from the bar in the food truck seating space.

I had an incredible experience at The Nugget, formerly known as the Golden Nuggets, and I wholeheartedly give it a five-star review! The moment I stepped inside, I was captivated by the amazing environment – it's the perfect blend of coziness and fun. The food outside was equally impressive; the taste, presentation, and variety left me delighted. The owner is a true stud! Their dedication to providing top-notch service and looking out for their customers is commendable. I felt welcomed and valued throughout my visit. One of the highlights of The Nugget was the awesome specials they offer. Tequila nights were a blast, and Beer pong Mondays added an exciting twist to the week. These unique events made my time there unforgettable. I highly recommend The Nugget to anyone looking for a fantastic dining and entertainment experience. You won't be disappointed!

My husband and I decided to try this place out for the first time lastnight, by far our new favorite place. We had a blast!! We met new people the staff were all so friendly, the atmosphere is so fun and upbeat and everyone was so welcoming. The drinks are so good, you also get snacks to help balance out the buzz. I felt safe had great security. And to top it off they had the best music. Such a fun place and decorated so nice, definitely will be going back
