Decent Mexican and/or TexMex food on the U of A campus. Accepts CatCash and meal plans as well as cash and credit. As campus dining goes, it's one of the best. There are some relatively nutritious choices here, if careful selections are made, but as a rule it's still pretty heavy on the fats and carbs. For quality, flavor and authenticity, it beats the heck out of Taco Bell, and is usually about as quick. Recycling and compost options are a plus! If I could award half-stars, I'd give Sabor 4.5.

Food is good but not amazing. They brought me flour tortillas when I requested corn. Price and serving size not bad for the Student Union.

As someone who was raised in a Mexican household, for me this food is pretty good non authentic Mexican food. Sabor is my favorite on campus restaurant for three reasons, they're relatively quick, more bang for your buck, and there's an fountain that serves horchata and tamarindo! I will say they do experiment with menu items like chimichangas and tortilla casserole, which are always disastrous.
