This place has an amazing atmosphere and the staff were remarkable in serving us. There are wonderful food options and the food tasted great. It also came out incredibly quickly. All the servers work very well together and no table got left unserved while we were there. They were incredible at helping everyone at a constant flow. Would highly recommend that not only for the atmosphere and the service but also for the incredible food

Tiny but amazing Mexican restaurant. Much better menu than the Mexican chain restaurant. However it is small and seating for groups 6+ would be challenging. Loved the service. Constantly asked if everything was alright.

Outside looks huge, but went inside for breakfast and it’s a lot smaller (but I think there’s an outdoor area too). And don’t let the outdated furniture scare you, the food was really good. We had their sampler app with all tasty treats, and for the meals they were filling and good. I see why they have SOO many good reviews. Their dinner rushes look really busy, but for breakfast about every other table was available.

The food at El Sur is consistently delicious. Our server, and other staff, was friendly and attentive. The atmosphere was a bit noisy due to the lunch crowd and lots of bare hard surfaces (floor, walls, and ceiling). The food prices are reasonable. Though I live 20 miles away from the restaurant, it's worth the drive. See you again soon!

I can't love this place any more. Excellent service. We come for breakfast every Sunday. Chorizo is insane. Pancakes are so perfect. Excellent chile rellenos. The corn tamales and beef taco are my favorite combo. The menu is huge we have so much more to explore. Love you El Sur 🥰

Sometimes you find delight in the simplest dishes. This place excels in those dishes that others 1mess up trying to do more. Want some of the best beans and rice around, come here. Want a mojito that not only satisfies you but makes you want 5 more, come here.
Their fajitas were great, the birrias tacos delicious and enchiladas sauces the perfect compliment. This place reminds me of one of those spots where you have a friend that you know is really good at cooking and you tell them they should open a restaurant and they follow your advice to make a spot that everyone wants to go too. Prices were super reasonable, portions were great and customer service super friendly. A little tight on parking and space inside is limited. Overall a great spot to attend over and over again if want a nice casual meal in the local Tucson area.
