Romano's Macaroni Grill

I ordered the Stuffed Mushroom appetizer and the Grilled Pork Chop with risotto, I had my food delivered. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food, it tasted very good, hot and fresh, the entree is a generous portion. Their takeout containers are done well with solid, tight fitting lids, none of my food was spilled. Would recommend.

The food is pretty dismal. Had the Sorrento Half Chicken which was i guess a promotional or seasonal menu item. The chicken tasted as though it was either precooked before they put it in their pizza oven, or overcooked. Either way it just had that old chicken taste to it. A single potato was cut into wedges, one of which was mashed when the plate arrived. absolutely not worth the price. Their Caesar salad is honestly, pretty boring. Could've used a little more dressing and sharper flavors. The corn chowder soup (soup of the day) was served at a decent temperature but the lobster bisque was barely lukewarm. The only positives are drinks, dessert, and the service.

I have been here with family and friends as well as just my wife. I will have to say the wait staff has been great and the food very yummy. I was here a couple of nights ago with a group of friends (10 of us) and they did a great job waiting on us. I will have to admit the forgot one guy, but when we told them what happened they quickly put in his order and he wound up getting served just after everyone else. Everyone enjoyed their meals with no issues. I see a lot of low reviews, but I will have to say I have always had good service and great food.

Could not have made Mother’s Day more easy and enjoyable. We made reservations easily online two days prior. The staff had our table ready early. The food was great. We especially love that there are vegan options (table bread and create your own pasta). The staff was amazingly friendly and we never felt rushed even on such a busy day. Thank you for a great meal and memory!
