The food is good and they make huge portions, but if you come on a Sunday be prepared to wait for the only server to take your order. Too bad they didn't make it a buffet, then it'd be nice!

My family has been eating at this establishment for over 25yrs! They have moved BUT, we follow the awesomely cooked food by Han 1 of the 2 part owners. So come and enjoy the dinner or lunch, it'll make you happy and bring a smile to your face. ENJOY!

Good food. Clean, fresh and friendly! The fried rice could have used some more seasoning (in our opinion- but some may disagree) but the beef and broccoli was definitely cooked and seasoned perfectly. They told me my food was going to be ready in 20 mins (I called in for carryout) and arrived about 15 mins later. It was given to me right on time and was piping hot! All ingredients were very fresh and the food stayed hot in their convenient containers (they do not use the typical "kary-out" boxes and that is a big plus in my book!). I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a more authentic (Chinese food) experience.

My sister took me here for my birthday lunch and it was the first time there for my family with the exception of my sister. She recommended it and I saw some other great reviews for the place. My sister and the reviews did not disappoint. The service, the food and the decor were all fantastic. Everybody at the table got a wide variety of food from sweet and sour chicken to broccoli beef. The only negative to our visit is the waitress forgot my sisters take out order and we sat there for 15 minutes after we were all done. With that said a strongly recommend this place for lunch.

Mae's has been on my "list" for many many months, along with another Chinese restaurant not too far up the street. I can't even remember how I found out about Mae's, likely when I was searching for good fresh Chinese food on the east side. We were here at about 4PM on a weekday and it was virtually empty... which was nice but also surprising. It was very clean and tidy inside, lots of tables with a traditional Chinese restaurant feel. There was one lady who was managing the front and she immediately sat us in a booth. From the start she was incredibly attentive, very sweet and made the overall experience here wonderful. Everything reminded me of how much I love a good Chinese restaurant, that is NOT a buffet or fast food. We ordered quite a number of things -- Egg Flower Soup, Spring Rolls, Shrimp Lo Mein (plenty of large shrimp, no skimping), Mongolian Beef and Orange Chicken. Everything was very fresh and the dishes made to order. The white rice was the perfect amount of sticky. We had plenty of food leftover, and they packaged it up for us. The hot tea was perfect and our fortunate cookies providing hope for exciting adventures in the near future. It is clear why Mae's gets a solid 4 stars.

Absolutely some of the best Chinese food in Tucson. We have tried roughly 20 different items, all fantastic. Food is always super fresh. Probably eat here 5 or 6 times a month. Big bang for the buck with their lunch specials. Tried a few other places on this side of town and they just can't compare. This place is awesome.

Amazing, quality food and always fast, friendly service! So excited - Mae's is much better than the other Asian place by Safeway. The hot and sour soup is the best we've ever had. Every entree is delicious!

This has to be the cleanest Chinese restaurant in Tucson. Ping was our waitress, very good service. Always on top of it, refills, clearing the used dishes. The food was well worth the price. Thank you Ping you made our family night out very nice.
