I must when you are in Tucson. A Great place to find friendly staff and patrons. I couple friends from NMSU stopped over before the AZ Bowl and a couple of locals led a cheer for the Aggies. Class Act!

Classic dive bar. Oldest bar in Tucson. Eclectic clientele. Great drinks & service! TVs with football! What more might you require?

Small dive. At a place like this, you'll probably see a lot of regulars. Bartenders are very accommodating and weren't intimidated by our large party size (and large orders). I'd appreciate more privacy in the bathrooms. Makes it hard to comfortably eliminate waste. I recommend the Trash Cans and Jello shots.

Busy little bar but I enjoy the atmosphere. Bartenders are always great. I recommend it to anyone looking for a quick drink

We didn't have food so I can't rate that but this is a great dive bar. Go in with low expectations in terms of decor but a pitcher of drat beer is only 8 bucks. Yes you only get 2 choices of beer for a pitcher but this is not the place to go if you want to drink craft beer. It is the place to go if you like dive bars, history and good conversation

Sonia is the most gorgeous bartender. Been going there since 1984. You will make a new ftiend. Its family. Snacks and drinks strong.

Ok, so this is about a dive as a dive can be. My party of 3 walked in on a busy Saturday evening. It was very busy. We ambled around the bar (not an easy task - to the right of the main entrance, there is a shuffle board table. We spied 3 empty bar stools at the end of the bar. Immediately you notice all the graffiti on the walls (and ceiling! We marveled at the ceiling and wondered, "how exactly did they do that"?). There are totems, chachkys, and do-dads galore behind the bar. To our right, we spied a mini fridge filled with jello shots (7 flavors I believe). A friend ordered 3, and we inquired which type of alcohol was used in them (mostly vodka). None were terrible. While there's a ton of atmosphere here, it's kind of a small place so you need to be comfortable in close quarters. I'm glad I learned about The Buffet (1st visit). I love dive bars, and this place fits the bill!

Maria was very pleasant and served me a really interesting sour cocktail. I bought a t-shirt from the place as it is a Tucson icon... despite being my first visit.

It’s the oldest bar in Tucson and a great dive located near Downtown and 4th Ave. It has college students all the way up to people who could be their grandparents. They have a jukebox, pool table, and shuffleboard table. It is not a fancy place but you can get Jell-O shots for $2 and the bartenders make great shots. The bartenders are fast and super nice! I love it here.

Not having lived in the area for more than 5 months, I feel at home here. The early morning banter with Allan and Shawn work better than any cup of coffee.

What can you say, dive bar that doesn’t feel to dicey. The buffet has been in tucson for decades and you see all kinds of people/characters. Placed nicely in midtown tucson and looks like a scene out of a movie. Drink specials are great and they have all kinds of different spirits and mixed drinks. Beers on tap are the normal imports and locals. They have pitchers available at a great price. Walking distance to the light rail is a plus. Great place to pre-game for any occasion. Bartenders are fast and get you your drink right away! Ordered a blue moon and it came out nice and cold and the pour was nice. They open early at 6 am and have different happy hours. I hear they sometimes have specials at a real low price. If you’ve never been it’s a definite must go if your a local or a tourist. You won’t be unhappy with drinks and people watching.
