Calle Tepa

First time here and I was pleasantly surprised. The menu is quite extensive with a few surprises on it. Not just the usual Mexican fare. You order at the counter and your food is brought out to you. The service was speedy and all the employees we interacted with were very nice. There is a very nice salsa bar as well. I would have liked the "hot" salsa to have been a bit hotter but all the salsas I tasted were good and fresh. I dropped one star for atmosphere because it's a bit loud and a bit cramped but not enough to keep me from going here again.

WOW !! from the atmosphere, to the HUGE portions of delicious food and yummy margaritas, this restaurant truly deserves 5 stars. The girls that took the order were super helpful and friendly and attentive. I came because my friends kept talking about it so I was hoping they were not lying... It was my first time and I will definitely be going back. Super happy and full 🙂

I need more stars 🌟! First you're hit with the pleasant atmosphere and overwhelming smells of goodness ! Quaint & uniquely decorated space & very authentic Mexican cuisine! I took a seat at the bar since you can also order food from there . I asked for suggestions from Mercy & Martha who were so friendly and helpful & made sure I always had what I needed. Strawbwrry Margarita to start and some chips & salsa of course, there's a wide varieties of Salsas to choose from. Then after getting their recommendation I chose the Queso Birria appetizer....OMG....The thing about Birria is most places make it so greasy you can't really taste the authentic flavors...we'll that was not a problem here! Not greasy & packed with flavor broth was the perfect compliment to the crispy birria and Manchego cheese taquitos. The dip and chow down was on ! So much so we ordered another one 😁 I followed that with an amazingly flavorful Pomegranate Margarita & I'm 💯 % hooked. This is hands down my new favorite in Tucson!

Visiting with the family so we needed a place big enough to accommodate us. When we arrived we were greeted with smiles and the same hospitality as if we were visiting family. There are two sections in the restaurant. One side is where you order at the counter and then they will deliver it. The second section is full service with a bar. We wanted to enjoy the sun and opted to sit outside. The weather was beautiful, the food excellent and the team came over to us a few times to check on us. This was a recommendation from a local so we knew we were at the right place. Loved it!!!
