I eat at this eegee's fairly regularly (Read twice per month). Please consider I am ranking this ONLY against other eegee's. Not comparing to other sandwich shops in the area. Good sandwich (Original Grinder), quick drive thru, fries always cooked perfectly, love the crinkle fries! Why 4 stars you ask...During multiple visits, there seems to be much confusion on how to process free eegee's for completing a survey or redeeming monetary rewards earned through the app. In fact, on 11/14/2021 - the staff could not process my $5 reward after almost 10 minutes in the drive through, they pulled 3 employees together and could not crack the code. As the cars piled up behind me in queue - I conceded the reward and departed absent taking advantage of the $5 discount. A little staff training in this area - and I hope to update my review to a '5' during future visits.
Such a great place for some fast, decent food. I tried the lime slushie, and it was very good, though I have to watch out for brain freeze! One good piece of info for me: I tried a mix of two flavors, one sugar free, and I gave it away: I really dislike artificial sweetener, and even a half and half really bothered me. Not a criticism--just an FYI. My adult daughter and I split a meaty sub of some sort that we had them heat: plenty for both of us and very tasty. My husband liked his veg sub too. Service was very warm and helpful.
It’s the place to stop on a hot summer day and get their signature “eegees” (aka Italian Ice like frozen drink). It’s coldness and deliciousness will not leave your taste buds wanting anything more than another sip/spoonful. Several flavors but I like the classic - lemon (with little tiny bits of lemon peel in there).
