Holy Smokin Butts Bbq

Great food and service. Texas style BBQ . We tried brisket, pulled pork and ribs . All lean to my preference except ribs which were a little fatty but tasted very good. Despite the sign at checkin that they were understaffed- be patient.. the service was good and prompt. Indoors was Texas bbq joint : clean but not too fancy.

Son Holy Smokin’ Butts is near where I work. And it was one of the first BBQ places I tried in Tucson and I thought it was only so so. I have had the best BBQ in the world I think traveling through Kansas, Tennessee, Texas, North Carolina, and my backyard. So I am hard to please there. But a few months ago a friend and life long Tucsonian wanted to meet there for lunch. And suggested one of their burgers! OMG! Their freshly ground 1/3pound burgers are amazing. Maybe the best in Tucson. On Wednesday they have smoked burgers. Try a burger here you will not be disappointed

For BBQ in Tucson it’s good. If you’re expecting TX or KC bbq, you won’t find it here. I got the Big Q platter, a little sampling of most of their meats. The turkey and pulled pork were dry, but they have sauces on the table if you like bbq smothered in sauce. The brisket was juicy (get the fatty pieces), and I didn’t need a sauce for it. Sausages and tri-tips were flavorful. Ribs weren’t fall off the bone, but not hard/over cooked. Baked beans tasted good as well, and I know I ordered their fries (for my toddlers), but can’t tell you how they were bc I didn’t try any.

Phenomenal experience, tasty food, tender/flavorful meats, delicious sides, top notch service, very clean and well maintained restaurant, this is a hidden gem. Went on Saturday night, party of 6 and the wait was no more than 5-10min, promptly seated, very clean floor and table, server was very warm and friendly, great menu recommendations. Menu was large, great BBQ options and sides. Our dinks were brought out quickly, food was not far behind, didn't feel like waited more than 15 min for food after we ordered. Food was accurate to what we ordered, cooked to perfection, server remained attentive for our entire visit. Prices were great, little lower than I expected which was a nice bonus. We will be back, can't wait to visit again, highly recommend Holy Smokin Butts BBQ. And our server, Colin, was exceptional. Well done!!

Best BBQ in town without a doubt. All the meats are high quality and very tasty. I have a special place in my mouth for the mac&cheese. Frickin awesome. Only downside is they are closed Sunday and Monday. But hey everyone deserves some time off. Just means I gotta order the Family Feast and a rack of ribs on Saturday

I had the Moist Brisket, mac & cheese and BBQ beans...all so good! My husband loved the Tri-Tip and our friend raved about her order of pulled pork. Our server, Rudy, was excellent and very personable. This is one of the best BBQ restaurants in Tucson! They also give Military, Veteran and First Responder discounts. The only caveat is that they sometimes run out of some food items later in the day.
