Outback is our second favorite dine-in restaurant in Tucson. The staff is always very pleasant and friendly from the moment you walk in. The hostess is always sure to give our daughter a kids menu and crayons which is so helpful to keep her occupied during the brief moments of waiting for food and drinks. On this particular visit, our waitress was very patient and attentive. Such a hard worker and she really takes care of her guests. We ordered the bloomin' onion to start. Amazing, as always. I suggest you try the bloomin' pedals sometime. I was craving a burger this time around and I opted for the bloomin' burger, medium well with a side of ranch. My husband ordered the 9oz filet mignon, medium rare with green beans and a baked potato. My daughter ordered the macaroni and cheese with fruit. Mine and my daughters were perfect. My husband wasn't impressed with the steak this time. He said it was a bit tough to chew which was surprising to us. We don't think we were served a filet mignon but rather a sirloin. This was honestly the first time that we all weren't 100% satisfied. It won't stop us from coming back.
Steak was cooked to order. The deep fried mushrooms are amazing when you dip them in ranch. That rice is delicious.

My visit to Outback Steakhouse was great, and Aiden, our waiter, was fantastic. He knew the menu well and made our dining experience special. The food was delicious, and I'll be back for more!
We loved the steak! There are lots of different options. I did not like sweet potato, but it is a personal opinion.
Wonderful customer service, got the steak and shrimp combo, steak was well cooked and tender delicious 😋

My rating for this restaurant is a strong 4 stars. We had lunch at this Outback and the lunch scene had not become very busy at the time of our arrival. I ordered a lunch salad with ranch dressing, and the Alice Springs Chicken with fries. We also had the gluten-free Chocolate Thunder Down Under for dessert. My salad was basic, but well-presented and all of the ingredients were fresh. They were a bit too generous with the ranch dressing, but I love ranch so no problem there. Oh, I also shared a starter version of the Shrimp on the Barbie, which was seasoned nicely, cooked correctly, and was overall very tasty.
My Alice Springs Chicken was juicy and delicious. The chicken was cooked perfectly and how can you go wrong with chicken topped with mushrooms, bacon, cheese, and a honey mustard sauce? Yum! The fries were hot and fresh.
Our dessert was rather fabulous, too. The brownie was rather light and not dense. The ice cream and whipped cream went with it perfectly.
Finally, the service was good throughout. The team at Outback did a good job and we will return.
Decent overall. Sirloin was tasty, but the coconut shrimp was disappointing, very small (except for one), and way overcooked. French onion soup was the best part of the meal.
We had great service. Staff friendly and helpful. Food delivered promptly. Food tasted good. The side salads were big and super fresh. I had the grilled shrimp, they were tiny like very small shrimp cocktail and barely filling. Great seasoning but much to be desired. Not worth the price. Sweet potato was perfect. Steak & lobster tail - Perfectly cooked. But served on smaller plate to look like more. Lobster tail was 3 bites not even an appetizer. Steak was small but tasty. Served w a small ice cream scoop mashed potatoes. Again it wasn't filling for the price. Ordered 1 drink. Total almost 100.00 bucks for 2 people. 2 entrees and 1 drink. Not worth it. Went home and made more food. I shouldn't have had to pay more for appetizers to fill me up.
My husband and I were seated promptly and were greeted almost immediately by our server Elaina with a warm welcome and smile.
She informed us of new menu items and with her favorites. She new every detail of the menu like it was on the back of her hand, we were impressed. We decided to order what she recommended and boy was she right! My husband was extremely content with his filet and I enjoyed the mac and cheese bites that Elaina recommended! We will definitely be back to visit this young lady, as she provided us with above and beyond service! Thank you Elaina!
It was our first family dine-in here. The experienced was great. We came for late lunch and everyone was very hungry. My husband and I ordered the same, season & seared ribeye, medium cooked. It came out very good😋. We had a really good server and she was so nice.
The price is $$, but for us who comes only in special occasion is worth it.
