Stopped in for lunch, my first time dining at this restaurant. I was in the mood for some kind of veggie & chicken soup and settled on the Sizzling Rice. I asked if the rice is golden crisp and was told yes. The server brought the soup with the rice separate (as it should be) and asked if it was golden enough for me, offering to grill it further if I wanted. I told her it was fine and was delighted with the sizzle as she added the rice it to the soup. Lots of fresh napa cabbage, white chicken, beef & several large shrimp. Fresh and flavorful, not salty, just right. They take pride in their restaurant which is very clean.

I've visited this establishment for decades and have always found this restaurant to be clean, professionally staffed and delivering a top notched product.
I especially enjoyed the lunch menu. I recently had general Tso's chicken for lunch, for $10.60 after tax. l received a filling plate of tasty chicken, fried rice, a noodle, egg flower soup and an egg roll. I found the entire meal was freshly made to order and extreamely flavorful.
I truly feel valued as a customer here. I truly appreciated receiving a full plate of food promptly served by an entire staff beaming with pride in a job well done.
I'd highly recommend this establishment.

We are coming back. We ordered the stuffed eggplant with shrimp on a sizzling platter and were impressed by the culinary skill of the chef. The outside of the eggplant was charred just right and its flesh was delicate and smooth. I thought the shrimp was really fresh fish because the generous amount of giant shrimp was so sweet and moist.
We also ordered the phat Thai and Thai ice tea. The surroundings are modern, well-maintained and clean. The iridescent tile wall and fish tank added to the seafood atmosphere.

The Golden Dragon on Sunrise has the absolute best chicken wings in Tucson. Often overlooked by local food writers who would rather follow the hype of new establishments that advertise themselves as more “authentic.” It seems a bit unfair that just because they have a generic name most of these blogs completely ignore them as if they haven’t been doing this for thirty years; they took a risk way before all these other places the blogs hype up. Talk to someone from New York and they might tell you that their favorite Chinese dish is wings with rice. The cook at the Sunrise location worked in New York ages ago and the delicious wings reflect that. Not every dish at every restaurant will be amazing, you just have to know what to order. I haven’t seen any blogs mention how great the wings are here but maybe it’s because they’re too busy writing uninspired articles about the same establishments over and over just like how television shows come to Tucson and film at the same restaurants every year. These food blogs don’t know any more about cuisine than you or I, and while their recommendations may be hit or miss, they are absolutely missing out by being biased and not exploring more dining options in this city.

Food (house lo mein & house fried rice) was very good. Husband said his fried rice was a bit dry. Food was served hot and in a timely manner. Wait staff could've been a bit more attentive.

Golden Dragon at Swan & Sunrise is the best Chinese food in Tucson. I love the Shrimp & Scallops with Vegetables, egg rolls, summer rolls, Shrimp with Vegetables and Northern Style Vegetables. Door Dash does not use this location and whatever other location they use is not nearly as good. It's easy to order ahead and pick up. The same family has owned this location for the decades I've been eating here. I wouldn't go anywhere else for Chinese Food in Tucson!
