Tucson Mcgraw's

McGraw’s never disappoints! While we were looking for a home in the Tucson area a year ago, we came across McGraw’s and are so happy that we did! Everything about this place is so wonderful from the servers to the food to the incredible views from the back patio! At this time of the year, sitting outside in the sun feels great and to have a few cold beers and some great food is heaven right here on earth! Do yourself a favor and give McGraw’s a try, I think that you’re going to like it! :)

Love this place, I think in its reviews, it may be underrated. I have heard that if the weather is hot, the horse farm below can be...fragrant. this was not our experience, they day we chose for a late lunch was beautiful weather. Our server was helpful even in the face of prying questions. We got the flautas for an appetizer and those were the freshest, with the most tender steak inside! Try try try!!! I got the green chile hamburger, awesome. We finished it off with a piece of their fresh pie, buttermilk, which was yummy. Wonderful views of the south east side of Tucson.

After a nice afternoon visit to the Saguaro National Park East we were looking for a place to eat on the way back to the hotel when we saw the sign for McGraws Cantina aka Tucson McGraw's we got seated quickly as it was not quite prime time for them because we noticed as the sunset came on the place got busy. We decided against appetizers preferring to order our entree immediately. My friend chose the half rack of baby back ribs with a loaded bake potato and a side salad I ordered the 8oz. Top Sirloin which came with a salad and veggies and I chose a baked potato with butter. We enjoyed our drinks and the view which from where we were seated was spectacular looking out over the city of Tucson. Our salads arrived and they were excellent with a nice mix of greens,some tiny tomatoes and croutons. The entrees arrived and as with the salads they were great my friends ribs were fall off the bone tender with a good flavor and my steak was excellent cook medium and a crust on the edges. Our server was very attentive and it was a great meal and a great evening.
