Amazing restaurant! Always enjoy it when I am in TUCSON! They have the best calamari and after multiple visits, I tried the tuna ceviche nachos to DRIVE A 120 MILES FOR! Surf and Turf is mind blowing, Tacos can't say enough about them! Just try it once and you will be hooked like a fush!

Just discovered this awesome place. The building is amazing with a nautical, ship theme. There was house music playing which was really fun and not too loud. We had a 1 year old with us, and he loved it! Excellent service. The food was OUT OF THIS WORLD delicious. I can’t wait to go back! Maybe this time we will come later in the evening without the baby and enjoy the music and dancing on the patio. What a great find!

Went for lunch with someone, it was absolutely amazing. I personally had the sailer's rice, every piece of seafood in it was perfect as if they had been cooked individually and assembled with the rice just for me. That said, there was too much for me to eat in one sitting and if that happens to you, take it to go and reheat it as you would a paella, it's as good as fresh! We also had the cerviche platter, which waa also great, with large portion sizes, and the seafood fundido which was so good it can be a whole meal by itself. My only complaint is it was a little dark inside, but that's probably to go with their 'eat-in-a-submarine' atmosphere they go with. Will certainly return for another meal.

Above and beyond our expectations. We flew from Philadelphia and needed to try something different than a cheesstake. The food was superb, delicious, and authentic! Beautiful lady waitress was very helpful in choosing and picking specials and drinks. Please visit and try yammy ceviche.

The La Catedral was cool and lots of seafood, but the sauce they pour over it before removing the wrapper is super salty like pure soy sauce. If you order, ask them to not pour it on there. My husbands tuna nachos were pretty salty too. The drink barely had any alcohol. They should make a sauce less salty & diluted a lot. The restaurant is cool and fun drinks too.

Seafood restaurant with a Mexican and Columbian fusion. The service was fantastic and food was good. It was pricey but there isn't an ocean near Arizona, so I guess it's a bit expected. We had the calamari for an appetizer (not pictured), the sailors rice, and the oysters. It's about $40-50 a person if you get an alcoholic beverage. The only complaint I have was the music was very loud. It had like a club vibe more than a restaurant

This review would be 6/5 if that were an option. I called ahead on a Saturday night as I knew they’d likely be busy. I was told they did not take reservations but could put my name on a waiting list in person. I understand that a restaurant this busy does not need to bother with a reservation system as they’ll always fill up anyways, but it does make for a more frustrating experience. I was quoted a 30 minute wait and received a call right on time that our table was ready. We chose to sit outside. When I’d arrived, there was live music inside (a bit loud, but good). The restaurant decor is quite fun, with the outside wall looking like a submarine and a consistent nautical theme throughout. Take a trip to the bathroom, they’re cool as well! Our waitress was great and offered personalized recommendations. She was attentive and the rest of the staff seemed equally so. We were impressed by the speed the orders came out. The menu offers a wide variety of creative Mexican seafood options. We tried the calamari, a few tostadas, and the sailor rice. All of it was delicious. The sailor rice would be enough for two smaller portions. I can’t wait to return to try more entrees. Prices were fair, and quality was high. I was impressed in particular by the calamari. It was the most tender, least chewy calamari I’d ever had.

My parents and I went here and we loved the ambiance. Usually when there’s a gimmick I’m a little skeptical about the quality of the food but this place had great food. They serve Mexican seafood and they had so many options! We had a great time and loved the food, atmosphere and service.

Everything about this place was amazing. Food, service, drinks. I had a few appetizers and a mango margarita (best ever)! Everything was so fresh and flavorful. The only complaint was that I didn't see prices for drinks on the menu, and the salsa was not complimentary. I was asked if I wanted chips and salsa but didn't realize there was an extra cost.

Wonderful experience, excellent food, top tier service. Our waiter was absolutely welcoming, friendly, and hospitable. He even brought us water after the meal, after paying and topping rather than rushing us out of the door like other restaurants. Octopus is a highlight at this restaurant and they did incredible, especially for how far from the coast Tuscon is. Highly recommend, the ratings are truthful.
