I eat out a lot and don't often give out five stars. But this restaurant met the standard I set. The food has so much flavor and was beyond my expectations. Try the crisp, so good. Now no where is perfect and I will say I was disappointed in their salsa. It was to watery for me, I like chunky salsa. But everything else was perfect. Thanks and I hope to visit again.

Having to wait over an hour to be seated is completely unnecessary but that is the standard here. They could have easily expanded by now but I think the extended wait time builds them status. The parking is an absolute nightmare, very small and limited. The food is always worth it. The service has been pretty decent the last few visits. The prices are very reasonable and the portions are large.

I was in Tucson for an annual athletic event, after which I have a tradition of enjoying an enchilada dinner. I chose Mi Nidito based on the Google reviews and was not disappointed. We arrived during the evening rush so we had to wait in the patio but were able to sip on margaritas while we waited. The wait also gave us the chance to converse with some locals who confirmed that Mi Nidito is the place to go for Mexican food in Tucson. The atmosphere was warm and cozy with the decor of a small, traditional Mexican casita. The food was delicious and the service was excellent even though they were extremely busy. I highly recommend if you seek traditional Mexican or New Mexican food in Tucson!
