Hey guys how are you doing. Thanks for the royal treat we had during the our first visit. We might come back with more friends and families.
I feel proud to suggest this awesome restaurant to every one who lives in or visit new York to take a try to have the authentic feel if the traditional Indian aromatic and gastronomic delicacies.
Have a nice time my friends and you guys in spice village keep on doing the best always.
Thanks and regards

Great authentic South Indian place! Has buffet too!
Went for Lunch very clean and decent place. Good customer service. We ordered dosa’ and paneer butter masala with butter naan. Served hot no much wait time for food. Everything served was fresh and tasty. Ambience is good.
The lunch buffet at Spice Village is phenomenal. Always fresh and tasty. Comes with freshly made Naan bread in a basket to your table as well as classic choice of Indian Desserts with tea & coffee. My friends and I have been coming here for years and I hope they stay here. Bring quarters if you stop by during day time as metered parking is only parking around. A large choice of all the favorite Indian dishes can be found here. I love the exotic decor and fill of Bollywood movies playing on the TV. There is a nice bar here although not pictured. Friendly staff !
Excellent!! Classy clean restaurant attentive staff - fine food.
Great food, good location. Chicken Tikka is a favorite dish - wish it was less sweet and more spicy. Naan bread actually glistens. It is a unique style of making it that's unparalleled in appearance and taste. First of the Indian restaurants to bring back the lunch buffet on weekends - Happy about that. Hope they'll bring more North Indian style dishes like the lamb and shrimp vindaloo curries, or in addition to the tandoori chicken in the buffet, I hope they'll include the variety of kababs or pakoras and samosas.
This was our second visit to celebrate my husband's birthday. Party of 4. We dined early evening so not many other customers then and service was good. Attentive staff and very accommodating. All four of us chose different dishes and the portions on each were very generous. Food was hot and very tasty, and reasonably priced. Very slight criticism is that they should use larger dishes for the condiments then they wouldn't have to bring more so often !
Only negative is that onion bahjia are not on the menu. Planning on lunch next time so we can sample the buffet. This will definitely be a regular spot for us
Good food if you want to try Kerala style cuisine. Nice place to dine in as well as take out.
Food is great here; however, there was only the cook and the server, who I also think was the owner, on my visit. Service is very slow. On a second visit, I ordered my meal to go. It was ready in a very reasonable time. The serving was more plentiful than in eating in the restaurant. I think I will keep this place for my take out adventures.
We enjoyed our meal and time together at Spice Village.
My sister and brother-in-law love this place. We stopped in for lunch the other day (they are not doing buffet due to Covid), and my husband and I split the butter chicken and an order of naan. It was more than enough for the two of us, and it was outstanding! Not too spicy for my husband, and loaded with veggies and flavor. Leftovers tasted just as good the next day! Cozy, clean atmosphere. Server’s English was limited, but he was friendly, and everything was exactly as ordered. Will definitely return!
I’ve eaten here a lot in the past and it’s always been decent food. Stopped by for their “lunch buffet” advertised on both their website and door on a Friday afternoon and was told they weren’t doing the buffet. A little disappointing.
