If you are looking for excellent food at a reasonable price with great portions, this is your place! The Chef & team were incredibly hospitable and outgoing, too. We look forward to our next visit!

One of the wonderful less known gems in Tryon. Great food and drinks with French and American cuisine. A beautiful restaurant and bar with very friendly staff. You can almost always get right in when other Tryon restaurants are on long waits including during Sunday brunch. Great specials and Thursday nights are half price on bottles of wine.

Amazing food. They were able to accommodate to completely transform a dish on the fly to be vegetarian for my mom and I and it was phenomenal. Very friendly atmosphere with good live music. The owner was extremely friendly and nice and went out of his way to recommend and call ahead to other spots for us to visit after our meal. Definitely recommend.

Husband and I had brunch at this place today and fell in love. We both had chicken salad plate trio that consisted of big portions of chicken salad, potato salad and wow the shrimp salad! Beautiful on the inside with local art, white tablecloths with fresh flowers, great service. Highly recommend this place to anyone. We were tourists but will definitely return. we got extra shrimp salad to take home:)

Loved this small restaurant. Very intimate and comfortable establishment. Family & date night atmosphere friendly. If you are tired of franchises this is the place for you. Food was great. Professional and friendly staff. Not far from Spartanburg, SC & really easy to get to this restaurant. Had the Rack of Lamb & fillet Minion (pictured) for main entrée and chocolate mousse & Stawberry creme Brule for dessert. All great for this Valentines meal.

Had a great New Years Eve 2020 at the Lavender Bistro. The service and food was very good. We had the Surf and Turf along with Sea Bass and several appetizers. It was all very tasty and will definitely go to again and highly recommend. The live music was really good as well. Thanks guys for a great night!!!

Went there for New Year’s Eve and was surprised to see a five course meal for $60 a person versus having the entire menu to pick from so we were kind of disappointed. The first three courses were good, Lobster Bisque then beef short rib Perogi. Then the fourth course was served lukewarm if not cold and we received a replacement but it was even colder. Service was good but they seemed a little bit confused. I’d like to go here again to try the actual menu items.

Nice and relaxing atmosphere for Sunday Brunch. Our 1pm reservation worked out great. Appetizer - Seared Scallops, My Entree - South Trade Crepe (smoked Salmon) - My wife's Entree - Quiche (Blue Cheese, Cranberry and onion. Absolutely delicious! Great service! We will definitely be back! Made a special 45 minute trip from South Carolina just to try it out and we were not disappointed. Highly recommend!

Everyone enjoyed their food. Large plate chicken was not really large($23). Service was slow but a nice waitress. I would go back. The atmosphere needs tweaking. A great guitarist entertained.

The only reason I didn't give this 5 stars is because they didn't quite seem to have their act together between management chef and waitress. We made reservations for 5:45 and we're almost late to a 7:30 show. It was only 2 minutes away. We did inform the waitress and she did her very best to get us out of there on time but for some reason the food took quite a long time to come out. But was definitely worth waiting for when it did. Everyone enjoyed the food it was above par most definitely. The best Parmesan risotto I've ever had. And I'm really picky about risotto. They should be proud of that dish and if you ever have an opportunity to have it, do. The chicken piccata was almost as good as mine :-) and my lamb chops were delectable. The escargot was good though the little puff pastries that they put on top or not.
