Very creative menu with organic and gluten free options. I had the squash hummus. It was very creamy with loads of flavor. They have a happy hour from 4-5:30pm. My friend is a brew master and loved the choice of local beers.

Nice beer selection, especially local. The food is a nice diversion from the typical Tahoe faire. They are moving into the more casual Tapa's dishes which makes it a nice informal post bike/ski meal. Salads are very tasty and unique

We got in late one night after a very long day of hiking and just barely made it in at closing. The staff were very accommodating and welcoming with some delicious food even though they could have easily turned us away being so late. We wouldn't normally try to dinr at closing, but we were famished and looking forward to dinner there all day. Thank you very much guys for nourishing us after being exhausted from the trails. I can't recommend you all high enough!

Fresh, excellent fusion cuisine. Happy hour from 4:30-6pm: beer and wine, small plates, appetizers and more. The ceviche and bahn mi sandwiches did not disappoint. Kid friendly, yet elegant.

The food is amazing at Philosophy! My wife’s green salad was the best I’ve ever had! Her ceviche was also great. My meatball app was great, but the home run was my shrimp gumbo. All local food and it shows!!! Mmmm. This establishment is among my favorites in Truckee now!

This relatively new spot in Truckee is adorable and tasty. We went during the holiday season and they had everything all decorated with a tree by the fire and mulled wine on the menu. All the dishes dishes are made with local ingredients and the selection we tried (arugala salad, cauliflower soup, and a cheese board) were great. They were also extremely accommodating of our gluten intolerant and celiac needs. We'll definitely be back, perhaps to check out one of the loved music nights.

Came in with a friend to get a nice dinner at around 6. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Ordering was very easy and we got our food promptly. The food itself was very high-quality and well made, with a good price point for a sit down dinner($38). The tri-tip sandwich was unique, well made, and tasted great. My friend got the arugula salad. Healthy, light, and well-portioned. I would recommend this place to a friend or tourist.

This place is a pleasant surprise in a great location in Truckee. It's brand new but the vintage feel is warm and welcoming. There is a TV in the corner to watch games, and they have live music on weekends which I checked out. Very social atmosphere.
I ordered the Alibi Ale Works Dunkelweizen beer, and it tasted like banana bread, which was terrific. The grilled cheese bites were delicious too. The staff was friendly and the beer list is long.. I think I might become a regular here.

Great food, new and exciting vibe, staff are very friendly. They have Rare Barrel sour beers on tap--only restaurant in the country 👌👌👌also the only sour beers I've ever liked, as a stout/Porter kind of guy.
