Marty's Cafe is located in the heart of Downtown Truckee, CA. It's famously known for it's awesome and incredible burritos, and their fabulous food specials. They have breakfast, lunch, and dinner, with a variety to choose from in their menu. The service is second to none. It is cozy, and has has a warm atmosphere. It is one of the well-known cafe's in Truckee, and in the surrounding area. The owner Marty is also a professional chef and he believes in delivering quality food and quality service. The food is delicious and extremely tasty, and it could be made to your desired palate. One of the things that I was really impressed with as a traveler and as a food enthusiast is that this cafe is extremely clean, and the restroom -- OMG, it is super clean. I have never experienced that even in some of the popular restaurants, even in Hollywood or New York. So if you are in the Lake Tahoe area or Truckee, you should come give this place a visit, you will not be disappointed.

I put a lot of effort into finding good restaurants. There are tons breakfast spots in Truckee with high reviews, so it was tough. I picked Marty’s, and was happy I did! The food was delicious, and the portions were huge! I think my husband made 3 meals out of that burrito.

I've been to Marty's a couple times now. It's an awesome breakfast spot in truckee and has great food. Nice sized portions and good quality. It seemed like real good food, not just greasy diner gunk. This is a place I would take friends and family and I would definitly recommend visitors check it out.

Very small place, the tables are close to each other. The food was very good. We had to wait for 25 min on Saturday morning. The staff is very nice. The prices are a bit on the expensive side (~$14 for a breakfast meal).

A small cafe so there was a bit of a wait but once we got seated the staff was on top of it and our food was out so quickly. Food was delish and reasonably priced. Would definitely come back next time I’m in Truckee.

Delicious food in a cute restaurant. The open faced egg sandwich and the grilled cheese with tomato soup are awesome. This last time I had an omelette with bacon and cheese. The potato pancake / hashbrown that comes with many of the dishes is great!

Had a lovely lunch at Marty’s during our road trip today. Had half of the veggie hoagie with a side salad. It was a bit expensive ($16) but was delicious so I didn’t mind! Would definitely recommend stopping here.

Solid diner in Truckee. Very good coffee, delicious food, and great service. Everything was seasoned well and the potato cake was a fantastic surprise. Highly recommend

Marty's has totally great breakfast and brunch foods. The service is impeccable and the people here are so friendly. They have created a great community in this place! I love the Lake-life decor and the wooden, earthy feel inside. It is a fun family place and great for kids.
